Third International Conference Successfully Organized at CGC University

Mohali, June 01, 2026:-Reiterating its commitment to promoting research, innovation, and global academic collaboration, CGC University, Mohali, successfully organized its 3rd Two-Day International Conference on the theme 'Recent Advancements in Communication, Computing and Artificial Intelligence'. The conference provided a shared global platform for eminent educationists, scientists, industry experts, and researchers from across the world to deliberate upon emerging technologies in the fields of communication, computing, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of renowned personalities from both academia and the corporate world. Prof. (Dr.) Bhola Ram Gurjar, Vice Chancellor and Director of NITTTR Chandigarh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by special guests Prof. (Dr.) M. N. Hoda (IEEE Chairperson and Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth) and Prof. Rajesh Kumar Dubey (Director, UGC-MMTTC). Keynote addresses were delivered by prominent speakers, including Prof. (Dr.) Maninder Singh (Thapar Institute, Patiala), Dr. Arun Kumar Singh (Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh), and Dr. Bukhori Saoh, Associate Professor from Walailak University, Thailand, who shared invaluable insights on the changing landscape of advanced computing and AI.

Organized under the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Goyal, Vice Chancellor of CGC University, and under the supervision of Dr. Sajjan Singh (Principal CCE and Conference Chair), the conference received an overwhelming global response. A total of 1,083 research papers were received from various universities and institutions worldwide. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 241 high-quality research papers were selected for presentation. These papers were presented across 16 hybrid parallel technical sessions covering cutting-edge topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, Intelligent Networks, and Automation. During the technical deliberations, Dr. Baban Kumar Bansod (Chief Scientist, CSIR Chandigarh) and Dr. Ayush Srivastava highlighted the transformative role of AI in shaping future industries.

The valedictory session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Abdul Quaiyum Ansari from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, as the Chief Guest. Appreciating the organizers, he remarked that such interdisciplinary research platforms are crucial for addressing global challenges. The Managing Director of the University, Arsh Dhaliwal, announced that selected research papers presented during the conference will be published in the prestigious AIP Publishing Proceedings, giving researchers global recognition. In conclusion, the university management extended their heartfelt gratitude to all guests, researchers, reviewers, and student volunteers for making the mega event a resounding success.
