यमुनानगर में 'वार्तालाप' कार्यशाला का आयोजन; कल्याणकारी योजनाओं और 12 वर्षों की उपलब्धियों पर हुआ विस्तृत विचार-विमर्श

Yamunanagar, June 30, 2026:-पत्र सूचना कार्यालय (PIB), चंडीगढ़ द्वारा हरियाणा के यमुनानगर में एक दिवसीय जिला स्तरीय मीडिया कार्यशाला, 'वार्तालाप' का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला का मुख्य विषय "केंद्र सरकार की कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के 12 वर्षों की उपलब्धियां" था, जिसके तहत केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों की विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के सफल कार्यान्वयन और पिछले 12 वर्षों में हासिल किए गए महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धियों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई।

यमुनानगर के उपायुक्त, सुश्री प्रीति, मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में 'वार्तालाप' में शामिल हुईं। कार्यशाला में मीडिया जगत के प्रतिष्ठित पत्रकारों के साथ-साथ विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों और प्रतिनिधियों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी की।

अपने संबोधन में यमुनानगर की उपायुक्त, सुश्री प्रीति, आईएएस ने कहा कि पिछले 12 वर्षों में लागू की गई कल्याणकारी योजनाओं ने नागरिकों, विशेष रूप से समाज के अंतिम छोर पर मौजूद लोगों के जीवन को काफी आसान और समृद्ध बनाया है। उन्होंने जिले के सभी विभागों के ठोस प्रयासों की सराहना की और विकास की इस गति को बनाए रखने के लिए प्रशासन और मीडिया के बीच निरंतर संवाद और समन्वय की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि आयुष्मान भारत, पीएम सूर्य घर योजना, मुद्रा योजना, पीएम किसान सम्मान निधी योजना, प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान समेत अन्य जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं में बहुत उपलब्धियां हासिल की हैं। 

इस दौरान मीडियाकर्मियों के साथ चर्चा करते हुए उपायुक्त महोदया ने पत्रकारों को सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म का उपयोग करते समय सामाजिक ज़िम्मेदारी को ध्यान में रखने के महत्व पर भी ज़ोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि विभिन्न पीढ़ियों के लोग, युवाओं से लेकर बुजुर्गों तक, हर कोई मोबाइल फोन और विभिन्न सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म का उपयोग कर रहा है, इसलिए, यह बेहद महत्वपूर्ण हो जाता है कि हम इसका उपयोग कैसे करते हैं। उन्होंने लोगों, विशेषकर मीडियाकर्मियों से अधिक सतर्क रहने और सोशल मीडिया के सकतरात्मक उपयोग के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने का आग्रह किया।

इस मौके पर नवीन कुमार अहुजा, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त, यमुनानगर, ने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि केंद्र सरकार की जनहित योजनाएं यमुनानगर के विकास में मील का पत्थर साबित हो रही हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि इन कल्याणकारी योजनाओं से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, कृषि, ऊर्जा, और रोज़गार सृजन में सराहनीय उपलब्धियां हासिल की गई हैं।    

कार्यशाला को संबोधित करते हुए, पुनीत सक्सेना, आईआईएस, पीआईबी मुख्यालय, दिल्ली ने इस बात का संक्षिप्त विवरण दिया कि पीआईबी फैक्ट चेक इकाई कितनी कुशलता से काम करती है और पत्र सूचना कार्यालय जनता और सरकार के बीच एक मध्यस्थ के रूप में कैसे महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है।

इसी तरह, अहमद खान, आईआईएस, मीडिया एवं संचार अधिकारी, पीआईबी चंडीगढ़ ने वार्तालाप के उद्देश्यों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रम से जनकल्याण की योजनाओं को मीडिया के माध्यम से लोगों तक पहुंचाने में यह एक सार्थक कदम है। उन्होंने क्षेत्र में सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय के तहत काम करने वाली विभिन्न मीडिया इकाइयों की संरचना और कामकाज पर विस्तृत पेशकारी प्रस्तुत की, और जमीनी स्तर तक विकास से संबंधित जानकारी को प्रभावी ढंग से आम जनता तक पहुंचाने में मीडिया की अहम भूमिका पर जोर दिया। 

कार्यशाला के दौरान, विभिन्न सरकारी विभागों द्वारा पिछले 12 वर्षों के अपने-अपने रिपोर्ट कार्ड और उपलब्धियों को प्रस्तुत करने के लिए कई तकनीकी सत्र आयोजित किए गए। इसी कड़ी के तहत यमुनानगर के सिविल सर्जन डॉ. दिव्या मंगला और उप सिविल सर्जन, डॉ. चारू कालरा ने प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान (PMSMY), आयुष्मान भारत, टीबी मुक्त भारत अभियान और एचपीवी टीकाकरण सहित प्रमुख स्वास्थ्य पहलों पर व्यापक प्रगति रिपोर्ट साझा की। 

डॉ. दिव्या मंगला ने रेखांकित किया कि यमुनानगर में मातृ मृत्यु दर में भारी गिरावट आई है और इसका बड़ा श्रेय प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान (PMSMY) को जाता है। उन्होंने आगे उल्लेख किया कि अप्रैल से यमुनानगर के सरकारी अस्पतालों में एक भी मातृ मृत्यु की सूचना नहीं मिली है। एचपीवी टीकाकरण के बारे में उन्होंने कहा कि यमुनानगर का लक्ष्य चार्ट में शीर्ष पर रहना नहीं है बल्कि 100% उपलब्धि हासिल करना है, क्योंकि वे एक भी लड़की को पीछे नहीं छोड़ना चाहते हैं। डॉ. कालरा ने यह भी बताया कि जिले में लिंग अनुपात में भी सराहनीय काम किया गया है और अन्य कल्याणकारी योजनाओं को सफलतापूर्वक लागू किया गया है।

इस दौरान जिला परिषद, यमुनानगर के मनोज कुमार, एपीओ, डीआरडीए ने प्रधानमंत्री जन विकास कार्यक्रम (PMJVK) और प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण (PMAY-G) के तहत हासिल किए गए परिवर्तनकारी संरचनात्मक सुधारों और ग्रामीण आवास के सफल कार्यान्वयन पर जानकारी साझा की। इसके साथ वित्तीय सशक्तिकरण पर चर्चा करते हुए, पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (PNB), यमुनानगर के अग्रणी जिला प्रबंधक (LDM), श्री सुभाष चंद ने मुद्रा (MUDRA) योजना और स्टैंड अप इंडिया के बारे में बताते हुए कहा कि ने स्थानीय युवाओं और उभरते उद्यमियों के बीच आत्मनिर्भरता को बल मिला है।

इसी तरह एमएसएमई विभाग के औद्योगिक विस्तार अधिकारी रोहित टिंडल ने औद्योगिक विकास और प्रधानमंत्री रोजगार सृजन कार्यक्रम (PMEGP) तथा सूक्ष्म खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्यम औपचारिकीकरण योजना (FME) के माध्यम से उत्पन्न आजीविका के नए अवसरों के बारे में जानकारी दी।

कृषि विभाग, यमुनानगर के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी श्री आदित्य प्रताप ने भी पिछले 12 वर्षों के कृषि सुधारों पर प्रकाश डाला, विशेष रूप से 'प्राकृतिक खेती' को बढ़ावा देने और अनूठी जल संरक्षण पहल, 'मेरा पानी-मेरी विरासत' की सफलता पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया। उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक प्राकृतिक खेती करने वाले किसानों को प्रति किसान 30,000 रुपये से अधिक की सब्सिडी दी जा चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार ने जल को एक विरासत माना है और इसे सुरक्षित करने के लिए सरकार ने ‘मेरा पानी-मेरी विरासत’ योजना शुरू की है। उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य में कम पानी का उपयोग करने वाली खेती करने वाले किसानों को 8000 रुपये प्रति एकड़ से पुरस्कृत किया जा रहा है।

उन्होंने यह भी रेखांकित किया कि जिला पराली जलाने को कम करने के लिए कुशलतापूर्वक काम कर रहा है, अब योजनाओं एवं सरकार के प्रयासों के कारण पराली 'वेस्ट से वेल्थ' के रूप में परिवर्तित हो रही है। उन्होंने ‘मेरी फसल मेरा ब्योरा’ पोर्टल की भी सराहना की, जिसके बारे में उन्होंने कहा कि यह इस योजना से किसानों को यूरिया प्राप्त करने में मददगार साबित हुई है एवं यूरिया की कालाबाज़ारी पर भी रोक लगी है। इससे सरकार एवं किसानों को काफी मुनाफा हुआ है।

उत्तर हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम (UHBVN) के प्रतिनिधि ने कहा कि 'पीएम सूर्य घर योजना' सौर ऊर्जा और हरित एवं स्वच्छ ऊर्जा हासिल करने में मददगार साबित हुई है। 

कार्यशाला का समापन अहमद खान, मीडिया एवं संचार अधिकारी, पीआईबी चंडीगढ़, द्वारा दिए गए औपचारिक धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ हुआ, जिन्होंने इस कार्यक्रम को एक बड़ी सफलता बनाने के लिए जिला प्रशासन और पत्रकारों कर्मियों के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

Chandigarh, June 30, 2026:-Rtn. Teena Avninder Virk, takes over the club leadership of Rotary Club of Chandigarh on 1st of July 2026.  An entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a social activist, Teena is the seventh woman president of the Rotary Club which celebrates 68th years of its charter.

A multifaceted personality with interest in writing, stage performances, helping others, she displayed remarkable courage.
A graduate from MCM DAV Chandigarh with MBA from IGNOU, Teena had been writing for a leading newspaper on women centric topics and interviewed famous women achievers, including Maharani Praneet Kaur,  Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Cine stars Neena Gupta, and Mumtaz, and the Lady foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao.  
Apart from women, she had the pleasure of interviewing father of fiber optics Narinder Singh Kapani, a memory she holds dear.

Roundglass and Football Players Association of Punjab Join Hands to Strengthen Player Welfare and Development

Chandigarh, June 29, 2026:-Roundglass today announced the initiation of a strategic collaboration with the Football Players Association of Punjab (FPAP), marking a significant step towards creating a stronger, more player-centric football ecosystem in Punjab. As part of the initiative, Roundglass will also facilitate complimentary access to the Roundglass Living app for FPAP members, enabling players to benefit from digital wellness resources that support their overall health and lifestyle.

The collaboration will be implemented through workshops, awareness sessions, community outreach programmes, and regular coordination through a Joint Working Group comprising representatives from both organisations. The partnership has been carefully designed to ensure that all activities remain educational, consultative, and welfare-oriented, without any involvement in player contracts, employment matters, or governance issues.

Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Pant, General Manager, Punjab FC, said that at Roundglass, we have always believed that player development extends well beyond technical training and competition. कक्षा 11 के सभी पात्र विद्यार्थियों को सरकारी स्कूलों में प्रवेश दिया जाए: कैलाश चंद जैन

Chandigarh, June 29, 2026:- भाजपा चंडीगढ़ के पूर्व प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष कैलाश चंद जैन ने चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन से मांग की है कि कक्षा 11 में प्रवेश के लिए आवेदन करने वाले प्रत्येक पात्र विद्यार्थी को सरकारी स्कूलों में प्रवेश सुनिश्चित किया जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि समाचार पत्रों में प्रकाशित रिपोर्ट के अनुसार 42 सरकारी स्कूलों में 13,920 सीटों के मुकाबले 14,252 आवेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं, जिससे 332 विद्यार्थियों के प्रवेश पर संकट खड़ा हो गया है। इतनी कम संख्या के कारण किसी भी विद्यार्थी को शिक्षा से वंचित करना न्यायोचित नहीं है। प्रशासन अतिरिक्त सेक्शन एवं सीटों की व्यवस्था कर सभी विद्यार्थियों को प्रवेश दे सकता है।

कैलाश चंद जैन ने कहा कि वें स्वयं भी चंडीगढ़ के एक सरकारी विद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र है और सरकारी विद्यालयों की भूमिका एवं महत्व को भली-भांति समझते  है। आज भी हजारों विद्यार्थी बेहतर एवं किफायती शिक्षा के लिए सरकारी स्कूलों पर निर्भर हैं। ऐसे में किसी भी छात्र को केवल सीटों की कमी के कारण प्रवेश से वंचित करना उसके भविष्य के साथ अन्याय होगा।

उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा प्रत्येक बच्चे का मौलिक अधिकार है। यदि सरकारी विद्यालय ही विद्यार्थियों को प्रवेश देने से इंकार करेंगे तो आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर एवं मध्यम वर्गीय परिवारों के बच्चों की पढ़ाई प्रभावित होगी। निजी विद्यालयों की महंगी शिक्षा सभी के लिए संभव नहीं है। इसलिए सरकार का दायित्व है कि वह प्रत्येक इच्छुक एवं पात्र विद्यार्थी को शिक्षा का अवसर उपलब्ध कराए।

उन्होंने चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन से आग्रह किया कि अतिरिक्त सीटें एवं सेक्शन तत्काल बढ़ाए जाएं और यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि एक भी पात्र विद्यार्थी कक्षा 11 में प्रवेश से वंचित न रहे।

कैलाश चंद जैन ने इस संबंध में शिक्षा विभाग को एक मेमोरेंडम भेजते हुए माननीय प्रशासक श्री गुलाब चंद कटारिया तथा मुख्य सचिव, चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन से भी तत्काल हस्तक्षेप कर सभी पात्र विद्यार्थियों के प्रवेश सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की है।

GJIMT Organises Financial Literacy and Self-Employment Awareness Camp for Economically Weaker Women

Mohali, June 29, 2026:-Demonstrating its commitment towards social development and women empowerment, the Rotaract Club of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase II, Mohali, organised a special awareness session on the institute campus for women belonging to economically weaker sections of society.

The programme, titled “Basics of Entrepreneurship Finance: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs,” aimed to enhance financial literacy among women and encourage them to explore self-employment opportunities. The initiative focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence required to become financially independent.

To make the session engaging, practical and impactful, several interactive and hands-on activities were conducted. Participants were taught how everyday household budgeting skills could be transformed into effective financial management for small businesses such as tailoring, embroidery, pickle-making and handicrafts.

Women were divided into small groups for a live demonstration on microfinance, where they learned about community-based savings, fund mobilisation and the effective utilisation of financial resources. Through role-play activities conducted by faculty members and students, participants were also introduced to various government subsidy schemes, financial assistance programmes and loan facilities available for women entrepreneurs.

The participants displayed great enthusiasm throughout the session and gained valuable insights into financial planning, profit generation, business management and self-employment opportunities.

25,000 VESPA FROM 67 COUNTRIES PARADE THROUGH ROME IN THE LARGEST RALLY EVER ORGANISED

Chandigarh, June 29, 2026:– In a sight never seen before, around 25,000 Vespa have paraded through the heart of Rome, in the largest rally ever to be organised, dedicated to a true world icon of style, elegance and technology.

 

The Vespisti, and their vehicles, arrived in Rome from 67 countries to take part in the Vespa 80th anniversary celebrations. The exciting festivities lasted for two days, and the event ended yesterday, which attracted thousands of visitors to the Vespa Village at the Foro Italico.

 

The morning cavalcade was the most spectacular moment of the VESPA ROMA 2026 – 80 YEARS OF AN ICON event. The Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, gave the starting signal for the parade, which was led by the presidents of the Vespa Clubs from the sixty-seven countries represented at the celebrations.

 

From the Terme di Caracalla, the great procession made its way to the Colosseum, then headed towards Piazza Venezia, circled the Altare della Patria and then rode on to the Fori Imperiali.

 

Along the route, thousands of people turned out to cheer, applaud and film the Vespa from every era as they rode by.

All of the more than 160 Vespa models that have been produced over eight decades appeared in the parade: some extremely rare examples of the Vespa 98, the first-ever series produced in 1946, as well as many vintage scooters, from the “low-light” two-wheelers of the 1950s to the classic VBBs of the 1960s.

 

The ET3s, GTRs and the many Rallys were some of the most applauded models, as was the timeless Vespa PX. A triumph of models and versions, right up to the modern Primavera and Gts, which are particularly well-represented, thanks to the keen travellers who have ridden thousands of miles to make their way to Rome.

 

The festivities continued at the Vespa Village at the Foro Italico , with events open to everyone, parties, and music from Radio Deejay, as well as the fascinating photo exhibition, the collection of historic and extremely rare Vespa from the Piaggio Museum, and a display of the current Vespa range. Shoppers were catered for too, with the special Vespa Shop.

तीन हफ्तों में जानलेवा बने ब्रेन ट्यूमर का सफल इलाज: 52 वर्षीय महिला को मिली नई जिंदगी

Panchkula, June 29, 2026:- पारस हेल्थ पंचकुला के न्यूरोसर्जरी विभाग ने 52 वर्षीय महिला का दुर्लभ और तेजी से बढ़ने वाले ब्रेन ट्यूमर का सफल इलाज कर नई जिंदगी दी। शुरुआत में सामान्य दिखने वाला ट्यूमर मात्र तीन सप्ताह में जानलेवा रूप ले बैठा, लेकिन समय पर पहचान, आधुनिक मॉलिक्यूलर जांच और आपातकालीन सर्जरी से मरीज की जान बचा ली गई। नीलम नामक मरीज को अचानक दौरा (जीटीसीएस) पड़ने के बाद अस्पताल लाया गया। एमआरआई जांच में मस्तिष्क के अगले हिस्से में करीब 1.5 सेंटीमीटर का ट्यूमर मिला, जो दोनों फ्रंटल लोब और कॉर्पस कैलोसम तक फैल चुका था। शुरुआती जांच में यह लो-ग्रेड डिफ्यूज ग्लियोमा प्रतीत हुआ। बायोप्सी में भी ट्यूमर अपेक्षाकृत कम गंभीर दिखा, लेकिन उसकी मॉलिक्यूलर प्रोफाइल (IDH-वाइल्डटाइप) ने भविष्य में इसके आक्रामक होने का संकेत दिया।

अगले तीन सप्ताह में मरीज की हालत तेजी से बिगड़ने लगी। दोबारा एमआरआई में सामने आया कि ट्यूमर तेजी से बढ़कर बड़े मैलिग्नेंट मास में बदल चुका है और कॉर्पस कैलोसम में 'बटरफ्लाई' पैटर्न में फैल गया है। इससे मस्तिष्क पर दबाव बढ़ने और गंभीर न्यूरोलॉजिकल जटिलताओं का खतरा पैदा हो गया।

स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए न्यूरोसर्जरी टीम ने तत्काल क्रेनियोटॉमी कर ट्यूमर को सुरक्षित तरीके से निकाल दिया। सफल सर्जरी से मस्तिष्क पर दबाव कम हुआ और मरीज की जान बचाई जा सकी। न्यूरोसर्जरी कंसल्टेंट डॉ. अंकित अमर गुप्ता ने बताया कि यह मामला दर्शाता है कि केवल बायोप्सी के आधार पर ब्रेन ट्यूमर की गंभीरता का आकलन पर्याप्त नहीं होता। कई बार ट्यूमर माइक्रोस्कोप में कम गंभीर दिखाई देता है, लेकिन उसकी मॉलिक्यूलर प्रोफाइल उसके अत्यधिक आक्रामक होने का संकेत देती है। ऐसे मामलों में लगातार निगरानी, उन्नत जांच और समय पर सर्जरी बेहद जरूरी होती है।

पारस हेल्थ पंचकुला के फैसिलिटी डायरेक्टर डॉ. पंकज मित्तल ने कहा कि आधुनिक डायग्नोस्टिक्स, मल्टीडिसिप्लिनरी विशेषज्ञता और समय पर उपचार से जटिल न्यूरोलॉजिकल बीमारियों में भी बेहतर परिणाम हासिल किए जा सकते हैं। यह सफलता प्रिसिजन मेडिसिन और समन्वित चिकित्सा की अहम भूमिका को दर्शाती है। विशेषज्ञों ने सलाह दी कि यदि किसी व्यक्ति को बार-बार दौरे पड़ें, लगातार सिरदर्द रहे या अन्य असामान्य न्यूरोलॉजिकल लक्षण दिखाई दें, तो तुरंत विशेषज्ञ से जांच करानी चाहिए। समय पर निदान और उपचार से गंभीर ब्रेन ट्यूमर के मरीजों की जान बचाई जा सकती है।

चंडीगढ़ सेक्टर 24 में पल्स पोलियो कैंपेन का उद्घाटन

Chandigarh, June 28, 2026:---हेल्थ डिपार्टमेंट, चंडीगढ़ एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन ने पल्स पोलियो अभियान की शुरुआत की, जिसका उद्घाटन सेक्टर 24, चंडीगढ़ में किया गया।मार्केट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन, सेक्टर 24 के चेयरमैन  रविंदर सिंह बिल्ला ने बच्चों को पोलियो रोधी दवा की दो-दो बूंदें पिलाकर अभियान की शुरुआत की। इस अवसर पर मार्केट वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन, सेक्टर 24 के प्रेसिडेंट अवनीश बंसल और डॉ. सुरीति (A.M.O.), ANM और सेक्टर 24 सुपरवाइज़र बबीता भी उपस्थित थे।

AAM AYUSH, सेक्टर 24/B, चंडीगढ़ में एक पल्स पोलियो कैंप लगाया गया  यहाँ बच्चों को वैक्सीन लगाई गई। सेक्टर 24, चंडीगढ़ में तीन और अलग-अलग जगहों पर भी वैक्सीनेशन बूथ लगाए गए थे। इम्यूनाइज़ेशन ड्राइव को आसानी से और असरदार तरीके से लागू करने के लिए अलग-अलग बूथों पर इस्तेमाल के लिए वैक्सीनेशन कैरियर बॉक्स बांटे गए।

मौजूद लोगों ने हेल्थ डिपार्टमेंट की पहल की तारीफ़ की और पोलियो खत्म करने की उसकी लगातार कोशिशों की तारीफ़ की।  उन्होंने भारत को पोलियो-फ़्री बनाने में मिलकर हिस्सा लेने की अहमियत पर ज़ोर दिया और लोगों से इस कैंपेन को एक्टिवली सपोर्ट करने के लिए कहा।

चंडीगढ़ को मिलेगा उत्तर भारत का पहला सरकारी एडल्ट और बुजुर्ग वैक्सीनेशन क्लिनिक

Chandigarh, June 27, 2026:- चंडीगढ़ 27 जून, 2026 को इतिहास रचने जा रहा है, जब उत्तर भारत में सरकारी सेक्टर का पहला खास एडल्ट और बुजुर्ग वैक्सीनेशन क्लिनिक शुरू होगा। यह क्लिनिक रोटरी क्लब चंडीगढ़ सेंट्रल और कम्युनिटी मेडिसिन डिपार्टमेंट, गवर्नमेंट मेडिकल कॉलेज एंड हॉस्पिटल (GMCH), सेक्टर 32, चंडीगढ़ के सहयोग से बनाया जा रहा है। गवर्नर गुलाब चंद कटारिया ने इस क्लिनिक का उद्घाटन करने की सहमति दी है, जो इस क्षेत्र की व्यापक और समावेशी पब्लिक हेल्थ की यात्रा में एक गर्व का पल होगा।

अपने संबोधन में डॉ. विनोद कुमार शर्मा ने संत कबीर को जागरण युग का अग्रदूत बताते हुए कहा कि उनका चिंतन आज भी समाज को सत्य, समरसता और मानवीय मूल्यों की राह दिखाता है। कृष्णा गोयल, सोमेश गुप्ता, आशा रानी, डॉ. सुनीता नैन, रंजन मगौत्रा, सीमा शर्मा और गणेश दत्त ने भी अपने विचारों और रचनाओं के माध्यम से कबीर की शिक्षाओं को वर्तमान समय में अत्यंत प्रासंगिक बताया।

Chandigarh, June 27, 2026:-Today, during the arrival of Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria for the Special House Meeting, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Chandigarh staged a strong protest outside the Municipal Corporation building in Sector 17 over the alleged theft involving offerings worth crores of rupees at Lord Shri Ram's temple in Ayodhya.

During the protest, AAP Chandigarh stated that the alleged theft of devotees' offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Temple has deeply hurt the faith and sentiments of millions of Ram devotees across the country. Questions raised regarding jewellery, cash, and other donations offered with devotion and trust at the feet of Lord Shri Ram have caused anguish among devotees nationwide.

The party stated that the so-called "Ayodhya Model," which was promoted across the country for years, is now facing serious questions over alleged irregularities related to construction works, land purchases, offerings, and other matters. If the government is genuinely committed to fighting corruption, it should ensure a fair, independent, and time-bound investigation into the entire matter rather than limiting itself to merely formal actions.

AAP alleged that if investigations and action in such a serious matter are confined only to lower-level employees, it creates the perception that those actually responsible are being protected. If accountability extends to higher levels, then no individual should be considered above the law.

AAP Chandigarh questioned Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria and the BJP, asking that if even the offerings made by devotees at Lord Shri Ram's temple in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh are not safe, then who will take responsibility for safeguarding the faith and trust of millions of Ram devotees? The party further asked whether this is the same so-called "Ayodhya Model" that was projected for years as a symbol of good governance, transparency, and honest administration.

The party stated that Lord Shri Ram does not belong to any one political party. Shri Ram is a symbol of faith, culture, and belief for millions of people, and in any matter concerning devotees' faith, the truth must come out and action must be taken against those found guilty.

During the protest, AAP also alleged that the BJP and the administration used the police to suppress public sentiments and opposition voices being raised on this issue. According to the party, AAP leaders and workers who were peacefully and democratically protesting were detained by the police and taken to Sector 39 Police Station.

The party stated that raising the voice of the people is both the right and responsibility of the opposition in a democracy, but instead of answering questions, the BJP is using the police and administrative machinery to suppress dissenting voices.

AAP Chandigarh made it clear that it will not be intimidated by detention, pressure, or politics of suppression. The party will continue to strongly raise issues related to corruption, irregularities, and matters concerning public faith, and will continue its struggle as the voice of the people through democratic means.

"Those who do politics in the name of Ram will have to answer the questions related to the faith of Ram devotees."

Chandigarh, June 26, 2026:-अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के राष्ट्रव्यापी अभियान के तहत चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी द्वारा आज सेक्टर-15 मेयर सौरभ जोशी के वार्ड में "छात्रों की गूंज" कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी द्वारा राजस्थान के कोटा में छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए दिए गए भाषण का बड़ी एलईडी स्क्रीन पर प्रसारण किया गया। कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थियों, स्थानीय निवासियों, युवा कांग्रेस, एनएसयूआई तथा कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने भाग लिया।

इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ के पूर्व अध्यक्ष जतिन सिंह रवी शाह एवं अश्विनी कौशल के नेतृत्व में किया गया।

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष एच.एस. लक्की ने कहा कि केंद्र की मोदी सरकार देश के युवाओं का विश्वास पूरी तरह खो चुकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस देश का युवा निराश, हताश और असुरक्षित महसूस करने लगे, उस सरकार के पास नैतिक रूप से सत्ता में बने रहने का कोई अधिकार नहीं रह जाता।

लक्की ने कहा कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों में लगातार हुए पेपर लीक, भर्ती घोटालों और बढ़ती बेरोजगारी ने लाखों छात्रों और युवाओं के सपनों को तोड़ दिया है। वर्षों की मेहनत और तैयारी के बावजूद युवाओं को न तो निष्पक्ष परीक्षाओं की गारंटी मिल रही है और न ही रोजगार के अवसर। यही कारण है कि आज देश का युवा स्वयं को ठगा हुआ महसूस कर रहा है।

उन्होंने हाल ही में चंडीगढ़ आए केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि जब वे शहर आए तो युवा कांग्रेस, एनएसयूआई और छात्रों ने उन्हें काले झंडे दिखाकर अपना विरोध दर्ज कराया। लक्की ने कहा कि शिक्षा मंत्री इमरजेंसी पर भाषण देने आए थे, लेकिन देशभर में हुए दर्जनों पेपर लीक, भर्ती घोटालों और छात्रों के भविष्य से हुए खिलवाड़ पर उन्होंने आज तक एक शब्द भी नहीं बोला। यह उनकी संवेदनहीनता और जवाबदेही से बचने का सबसे बड़ा प्रमाण है।

एच.एस. लक्की ने कहा कि यदि धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के भीतर नैतिकता का थोड़ा भी भाव शेष है तो उन्हें तत्काल अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे देना चाहिए। साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को भी उन्हें तत्काल मंत्रिमंडल से बर्खास्त करना चाहिए, क्योंकि शिक्षा मंत्रालय छात्रों का भविष्य सुरक्षित रखने में पूरी तरह विफल रहा है।

इस अवसर पर पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ के पूर्व अध्यक्ष जतिन सिंह  ने कहा कि वे स्वयं छात्र राजनीति से जुड़े रहे हैं और छात्रों की समस्याओं को अच्छी तरह समझते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आज चंडीगढ़ सहित पूरे देश में छात्रों के बीच गहरी मायूसी का माहौल है। विद्यार्थियों को लगने लगा है कि कठिन परिश्रम और उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के बावजूद उन्हें रोजगार की कोई गारंटी नहीं है। दूसरी ओर, लगातार हो रहे पेपर लीक ने छात्रों का परीक्षा प्रणाली और सरकारी संस्थाओं से विश्वास पूरी तरह समाप्त कर दिया है।

कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित विद्यार्थियों एवं स्थानीय नागरिकों ने भी केंद्र सरकार की शिक्षा और रोजगार संबंधी नीतियों की कड़ी आलोचना करते हुए मांग की कि भर्ती परीक्षाओं में पूर्ण पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित की जाए, पेपर लीक के दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई हो तथा युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वालों को किसी भी कीमत पर बख्शा न जाए।

कार्यक्रम के अंत में कांग्रेस नेताओं ने संकल्प लिया कि छात्रों के अधिकारों, निष्पक्ष भर्ती व्यवस्था और रोजगार के मुद्दे पर पार्टी का जनजागरण अभियान आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगा।

व्यापारी एकता मंच ने चंडीगढ़ मास्टर प्लान–2031 में छोटे औद्योगिक प्लॉट धारकों के हितों की पैरवी की

Chandigarh, June 26, 2026:-चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन द्वारा मास्टर प्लान–2031 के प्रस्तावित संशोधनों पर आयोजित Personal Hearing में आज व्यापारी एकता मंच, इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया, चंडीगढ़ के प्रतिनिधिमंडल में  योगेश कपूर, दीपक शर्मा, अशोक तिवारी, ऋषभ गोयल एवं परमिंदर सिंह भाग लिया और छोटे एवं मध्यम औद्योगिक प्लॉट धारकों की ओर से अपने सुझाव एवं आपत्तियाँ दर्ज करवाई।

व्यापारी एकता मंच ने चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन द्वारा औद्योगिक क्षेत्र के विकास हेतु प्रस्तावित FAR 2.0 का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि यह एक सकारात्मक एवं दूरदर्शी कदम है। साथ ही मंच ने यह भी आग्रह किया कि 125 वर्ग गज, 250 वर्ग गज, 500 वर्ग गज, 1 कनाल एवं 2 कनाल के छोटे औद्योगिक प्लॉटों के लिए केवल 60% ग्राउंड कवरेज पर्याप्त नहीं है। छोटे प्लॉटों को अधिकतम 80% ग्राउंड कवरेज प्रदान की जानी चाहिए। तभी FAR 2.0 का वास्तविक लाभ अधिकांश MSME उद्योगों तक पहुँच सकेगा।

सुनवाई के दौरान व्यापारी एकता मंच ने यह भी अनुरोध किया कि वर्तमान में संचालित औद्योगिक इकाइयों के लिए स्पष्ट Transition Policy (संक्रमण नीति) बनाई जाए, ताकि नई व्यवस्था लागू होने पर किसी भी उद्योग, व्यापार, कर्मचारियों या निवेश पर अनावश्यक प्रतिकूल प्रभाव न पड़े।

प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने यह भी कहा कि चंडीगढ़ इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया के अधिकांश प्लॉट छोटे एवं मध्यम उद्योगों (MSME) से संबंधित हैं। इसलिए अंतिम नीति ऐसी होनी चाहिए जिससे सबसे अधिक लाभ इन्हीं उद्योगों को प्राप्त हो तथा Ease of Doing Business का उद्देश्य वास्तविक रूप से पूरा हो। 

अंत में व्यापारी एकता मंच की तरफ से सभी प्लाटों के टाइटल क्लियर करने की मांग रखी। और मिसयूज एवं वायलेशन के नोटिसों में खड़ी करोड़ों रुपए की पेनल्टी को वन टाइम सेटलमेंट में खत्म किया जाना चाहिए। तभी जाकर असल में FAR को बढ़ाने का व्यापारी को फायदा मिलेगा।

व्यापारी एकता मंच ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन सभी सुझावों एवं आपत्तियों पर सकारात्मक एवं न्यायसंगत विचार करते हुए उद्योग हित में अंतिम निर्णय लेगा।

The main objective of this campaign was to make the learning process more vibrant and effective through "Learning by Doing" and hands-on experiences. Every activity organized in the school inspired the young learners to explore, create, experiment, and solve problems with complete confidence and curiosity.

To make this special campaign even more interesting, the school conducted several exciting activities. Children experimented with creating new colors using water and safe colors, boosting their scientific curiosity. Meanwhile, the young children learned to sort different shapes and objects and showcased their creativity by building beautiful structures and models using colorful blocks. Using clay, the children shaped various fruits, vegetables, and animals, which enhanced their fine motor skills and thinking capabilities. Through mutual coordination, the children solved large puzzles, learning the fundamental skills of problem-solving.

These joyful experiences not only nurtured creativity, critical thinking, and self-reliance among the children but also fostered a lifelong love for learning by connecting classroom concepts to the real world.

निर्जला एकादशी पर श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी ने लगाया लंगर: राहगीरों में बांटा गन्ने का ताजा रस

Chandigarh, June 25, 2026:-श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी की ओर से निर्जला एकादशी के पावन अवसर पर नामदेव भवन सेक्टर 21 सामने गन्ने के रस और  लंगर भंडारा लगाया गया। यहां लोगों में ने छोले-कुल्चे, चपाती, कढ़ी, हलवा प्रसाद बांटा। 

श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी के अध्यक्ष अरुण अग्रवाल ने बताया कि हिंदू धर्म में सभी एकादशी का विशेष महत्व होता है, लेकिन निर्जला एकादशी का महत्व सबसे बड़ा है। निर्जला एकादशी को साल की सबसे बड़ी एकादशी माना जाता है। इस दिन लोग भगवान विष्णु और माता लक्ष्मी की पूजा करते हैं। मान्यता है कि इस दिन व्रत रखने से सारी मनोकामनाएं पूरी होती हैं। धन और समृद्धि में वृद्धि होती है, साथ ही सौभाग्य का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त होता है। ऐसे में इस दिन लोग दूसरे लोगों की सेवा करने को भी सौभाग्य समझा जाता हैं।इस छबील पर 4 गन्ने के रस की मशीन भी लगाई है, गन्ने के मीठे रस से लोगों की प्यास बुझाने के लिए 10 क्विंटल गन्ना  मंगवाया गया है। इसके अलावा 1000 लोगों के लिए भंडारा, 1000 केले, 1000 चैलाई के लड्डू, कुलचा-छोले का इंतज़ाम किया गया था।

लंगर सेवा में आई एस बंसल, अरुण अग्रवाल, सुमिता कोहली,  शांति मांझी, नरिंदर सिंगला, अमिता मित्तल,केशव बंसल, जगदीश गुप्ता व अन्य ने सेवा निभाई।

अरुण अग्रवाल ने बताया कि आगामी शनिवार को श्री राम भंडारा कमेटी की ओर से लगाए जाने वाले भंडारे के साथ साथ 1000 गिलास लस्सी का प्रबंध किया गया है।

नरेश अरोड़ा ने नागरिकों की समस्याओं को गंभीरता से सुनते हुए आश्वासन दिया कि सभी मुद्दों को संबंधित अधिकारियों के समक्ष प्रमुखता से उठाकर उनके समाधान के लिए प्रयास किए जाएंगे।

जैन समाज की भावनाएं आहत करने वाले कथित बयान पर प्रधानमंत्री, गृह मंत्री एवं राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग को ज्ञापन

Chandigarh, June 25, 2026:-भारतीय जनता पार्टी, चंडीगढ़ के पूर्व प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष एवं जैन महासंघ चंडीगढ़ ट्राइसिटी के संयोजक कैलाश चंद जैन ने जैन मुनियों द्वारा प्रयोग की जाने वाली मयूर पंख पिच्छी के संबंध में पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री श्रीमती मेनका गांधी द्वारा दिए गए कथित बयान पर कड़ी आपत्ति व्यक्त की है।

कैलाश चंद जैन ने इस विषय को गंभीर बताते हुए भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, माननीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह तथा राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग के अध्यक्ष को ज्ञापन भेजा है। ज्ञापन की प्रतिलिपि श्रीमती मेनका गांधी को भी प्रेषित की गई है तथा उनसे अपने कथित बयान के संबंध में स्थिति स्पष्ट करने का आग्रह किया गया है।

कैलाश चंद जैन ने कहा कि जैन धर्म अहिंसा, करुणा एवं जीव-दया का संदेश देता है। जैन साधु-संत पिच्छी का उपयोग सूक्ष्म जीवों की रक्षा के लिए करते हैं। पिच्छी प्राकृतिक रूप से गिरे हुए मयूर पंखों से बनाई जाती है। ऐसे में मोरों की हत्या कर पिच्छी बनाए जाने का आरोप तथ्यहीन, भ्रामक और जैन समाज की धार्मिक भावनाओं को आहत करने वाला है।

उन्होंने कहा कि जैन संतों एवं जैन परंपराओं पर बिना किसी प्रमाण के इस प्रकार का गंभीर आरोप लगाना अत्यंत आपत्तिजनक है। यदि श्रीमती मेनका गांधी के पास अपने कथन के समर्थन में कोई विश्वसनीय प्रमाण है, तो उसे सार्वजनिक किया जाए। अन्यथा वे अपना बयान वापस लेकर जैन समाज एवं जैन मुनियों से सार्वजनिक क्षमा याचना करें।

कैलाश चंद जैन ने कहा कि जैन समाज एक शांतिप्रिय, राष्ट्रनिष्ठ एवं अहिंसक समुदाय है, जिसने सदैव सामाजिक समरसता, जीव-दया एवं नैतिक मूल्यों को बढ़ावा दिया है। किसी भी अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय की धार्मिक परंपराओं एवं आस्थाओं के संबंध में बिना प्रमाण इस प्रकार के वक्तव्य सामाजिक सौहार्द को प्रभावित कर सकते हैं।

ज्ञापन में निम्न मांगें की गई हैं—

• मामले की निष्पक्ष एवं तथ्यात्मक जांच कराई जाए।

• कथित बयान के समर्थन में उपलब्ध प्रमाण प्रस्तुत करने को कहा जाए।

• आरोप असत्य पाए जाने पर बयान वापस लेकर सार्वजनिक क्षमा याचना कराई जाए।

• भविष्य में ऐसी भ्रामक एवं तथ्यहीन टिप्पणियों पर रोक लगाने हेतु आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए जाएं।

कैलाश चंद जैन ने कहा कि उनका उद्देश्य किसी व्यक्ति विशेष के प्रति दुर्भावना रखना नहीं है, बल्कि सत्य की स्थापना, जैन समाज की प्रतिष्ठा की रक्षा तथा सभी धर्मों एवं समुदायों के प्रति सम्मान की भावना को बनाए रखना है। उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार एवं राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक आयोग से इस मामले में शीघ्र संज्ञान लेकर उचित कार्रवाई करने का आग्रह किया है।

चंडीगढ़ को पर्यटन, संस्कृति और विरासत संरक्षण का राष्ट्रीय केंद्र बनना चाहिए: एच.एस. लक्की

Chandigarh, June 25, 2026:-प्रशासक सलाहकार परिषद की कला, संस्कृति, पर्यटन एवं विरासत संरक्षण संबंधी वैधानिक समिति की बैठक आज सेक्टर-17 स्थित सिटको कार्यालय में समिति के अध्यक्ष एच.एस. लक्की की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित की गई।

बैठक में पर्यटन निदेशक राधिका सिंह, संस्कृति निदेशक नवीन रत्तू, मुख्य वास्तुकार विभाग, संग्रहालय विभाग के प्रतिनिधियों सहित विभिन्न विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों एवं समिति के सदस्यों ने भाग लिया।

बैठक में चंडीगढ़ के पर्यटन, संस्कृति और विरासत क्षेत्रों को सशक्त बनाने से जुड़े विभिन्न विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। सदस्यों ने उत्तर भारत में चंडीगढ़ को एक प्रमुख पर्यटन गंतव्य के रूप में स्थापित करने के लिए दीर्घकालिक दृष्टिकोण और पर्यटक-अनुकूल नीति तैयार करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।

बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए समिति के अध्यक्ष एच.एस. लक्की ने कहा कि भारत के सबसे सुनियोजित और सुंदर शहरों में शामिल होने के बावजूद चंडीगढ़ अभी तक अपनी विशाल पर्यटन क्षमता का पूर्ण उपयोग नहीं कर पाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि अपनी विशिष्ट वास्तुकला, हरित वातावरण, आधुनिक शहरी नियोजन और प्रसिद्ध स्थलों के कारण हर वर्ष लाखों पर्यटक चंडीगढ़ आते हैं, लेकिन इसे एक जीवंत पर्यटन और सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने की अभी भी अपार संभावनाएं हैं।

लक्की ने कहा कि पर्यटकों के लिए सुविधाजनक आधारभूत ढांचे के विकास के साथ-साथ नियमित सांस्कृतिक उत्सवों, हेरिटेज वॉक, कला प्रदर्शनियों, संगीत कार्यक्रमों और सार्वजनिक आयोजनों का आयोजन किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि शहर की विशिष्ट पहचान को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रस्तुत किया जा सके।

उन्होंने विशेष रूप से सुखना झील की अपार संभावनाओं का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि इसे पूरे वर्ष सांस्कृतिक और पर्यटन गतिविधियों के केंद्र के रूप में विकसित किया जाना चाहिए। यहां नियमित सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, विरासत उत्सव, लोक कला प्रस्तुतियां, कला मेले, फूड फेस्टिवल और पर्यटन संबंधी आयोजन आयोजित किए जा सकते हैं, जिससे पर्यटकों की भागीदारी बढ़ेगी और चंडीगढ़ की सांस्कृतिक पहचान और मजबूत होगी।

समिति ने स्थानीय कलाकारों, संगीतकारों, लोक कलाकारों, शिल्पकारों और सांस्कृतिक संस्थाओं को अधिक अवसर और मंच उपलब्ध कराने के उपायों पर भी चर्चा की। सदस्यों ने कहा कि उभरती प्रतिभाओं को संस्थागत सहयोग प्रदान किया जाना चाहिए ताकि चंडीगढ़ कला और रचनात्मकता का एक महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र बन सके।

चर्चा के दौरान एच.एस. लक्की ने नागरिकों में स्वच्छता और अनुशासन की भावना विकसित करने की आवश्यकता पर विशेष जोर दिया। जापान तथा अन्य देशों की अपनी हालिया यात्राओं का उल्लेख करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि चंडीगढ़ अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनाई जा रही अनेक अच्छी व्यवस्थाओं से प्रेरणा ले सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि जापान जैसे देशों में जिस प्रकार स्वच्छता, सार्वजनिक अनुशासन, नागरिक जिम्मेदारी और सार्वजनिक स्थलों के प्रति सम्मान की संस्कृति देखने को मिलती है, उसे चंडीगढ़ में भी अपनाया जाना चाहिए। ऐसे मूल्यों को हमारी दैनिक नागरिक जीवनशैली का हिस्सा बनना चाहिए।

लक्की ने सुझाव दिया कि पर्यटन और संस्कृति विभाग संयुक्त रूप से स्वच्छता, अनुशासन, नागरिक जिम्मेदारी और देशभक्ति की भावना को बढ़ावा देने के लिए जनजागरूकता अभियान चलाएं। ये अभियान स्कूलों, कॉलेजों, बाजारों, सामुदायिक केंद्रों और सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर आयोजित किए जाएं ताकि विशेष रूप से युवाओं और विद्यार्थियों में अपने शहर के प्रति जिम्मेदारी की भावना विकसित हो सके।

उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि सरकारी कार्यक्रमों और सांस्कृतिक आयोजनों को केवल कुछ चुनिंदा स्थानों या समाज के सीमित वर्गों तक सीमित नहीं रखा जाना चाहिए। इसके बजाय इन्हें चंडीगढ़ के प्रत्येक सेक्टर, कॉलोनी और गांव तक पहुंचाया जाना चाहिए ताकि अधिक से अधिक लोगों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित हो सके।

बैठक में यह भी निर्णय लिया गया कि समिति सरंगपुर में विकसित की जा रही आगामी इवेंट और कन्वेंशन सुविधाओं का दौरा करेगी, जहां चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन द्वारा बड़े स्तर पर संगीत समारोहों, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों और पर्यटन संबंधी आयोजनों की योजना बनाई जा रही है। सदस्यों ने मत व्यक्त किया कि इस प्रकार का आधारभूत ढांचा चंडीगढ़ को राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय आयोजनों के लिए एक पसंदीदा गंतव्य बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकता है।

एच.एस. लक्की ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे अपने-अपने विभागों की वर्तमान गतिविधियों, उपलब्धियों और भविष्य की योजनाओं पर विस्तृत प्रस्तुतियां समिति के सदस्यों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करें, ताकि समिति पर्यटन और सांस्कृतिक क्षेत्र को और मजबूत बनाने के लिए रचनात्मक सुझाव दे सके।

बैठक के अंत में समिति ने सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया कि चंडीगढ़ के पर्यटन, संस्कृति और विरासत संरक्षण क्षेत्रों को कहीं अधिक व्यापक, व्यवस्थित और प्रभावी तरीके से बढ़ावा दिया जाना चाहिए। सदस्यों ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि उचित योजना, जनभागीदारी और नवाचारी पहलों के माध्यम से चंडीगढ़ देश के अग्रणी पर्यटन, संस्कृति और विरासत संरक्षण केंद्रों में अपना स्थान बना सकता है।
