Honda India Foundation Deploys 312 Emergency Response Vehicles across all 23 Districts of Haryana

Gurugram, June 1, 2026:-Honda India Foundation (HIF) today handed over 312 Emergency Response Vehicles (ERV) to Haryana Police, covering all 23 districts of the state. This programme is one of the largest single-deployment CSR mobility initiatives for a state police force in India. The handover was carried out in collaboration with the Government of Haryana.

 

The handover ceremony took place in Leisure Valley Parking, Sector 29, Gurugram, in the presence of Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana; Rao Narbir Singh, Hon’ble Minister – Industries & Commerce, Government of Haryana; Vinay Dhingra, Trustee, Honda India Foundation and senior representatives from Government & Honda India Foundation.


Under this initiative, HIF has provided 310 two-wheelers and 2 four-wheelers as ERVs under its CSR programme, Sadak Sahayak à Surakshit Marg, Surakshit Jeevan. The deployment includes 60 Honda CB350 motorcycles and 1 Honda Elevate for Gurugram, 40 Honda CB350 motorcycles and 1 Honda Elevate for Faridabad, and 210 Honda Shine 100 motorcycles across the remaining 21 districts of Haryana.

 

The deployment is designed to enhance police mobility, reduce emergency response times, and strengthen on-ground law enforcement across the state, particularly in high-density and sensitive areas where timely intervention is critical.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vinay Dhingra, Trustee, Honda India Foundation, said that road safety does not depend on awareness alone; it depends equally on the systems that enable timely response and effective enforcement. Through this intervention, we are enhancing mobility for institutions that support public service and community well-being. At Honda India Foundation, we remain committed to practical road safety measures that strengthen public safety in a meaningful way.
