Mohali, June 01, 2026:-The 'Achievers Award Ceremony' was organized with great pride, grandeur, and enthusiasm at Shemrock School to honor the meritorious students who showcased outstanding performance in the Class 10 and 12 Board Examinations for the academic session 2025-2026. The ceremony stood out as a memorable event dedicated to celebrating the academic talent, discipline, perseverance, and artistic excellence of the students.
The ceremony commenced in accordance with traditional rituals by lighting the ceremonial lamp and performing the Saraswati Vandana, followed by a magnificent classical dance performance. Next, the audience was left spellbound by a series of cultural presentations by the students, including a melodious classical singing rendition, an energetic Qawwali, and a divine Kathak dance drama titled "Kaliya Daman," which beautifully depicted Lord Shri Krishna’s victory over the serpent Kaliya, filling the entire atmosphere with a spiritual aura.
On this auspicious occasion, the school had the distinct honor of welcoming Mrs. Surinder Kaur Chandpuri—wife of the late Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, a recipient of the Maha Vir Chakra (MVC) and Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM)—as the Chief Guest. Her esteemed presence added immense dignity to the event. She was accompanied by Mr. Hardeep Singh Chandpuri, son of the late Brigadier Chandpuri and Chairman of the Buzz Network Education and Research Society. Drawing from his vast professional experience, he shared invaluable life lessons and inspired the students to always strive forward in life.
The most emotional and touching moment of the ceremony was a special audio-visual documentary showcased as a tribute to the great war hero, the late Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri. The saga of his unparalleled bravery and sacrifice ignited a profound sense of patriotism and pride in the hearts of all guests, teachers, and students present.
The main highlight of the event remained the prize distribution ceremony, where Class 10 and 12 toppers were rewarded with cash prizes and trophies. The school topper, Anushka, was bestowed with the prestigious Rolling Trophy and a cash prize, initiated by the Chandpuri family in memory of the late Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri. Jashandeep, who secured the second position, along with Jeevanjot and Sukhman, who secured the third position, were awarded cash prizes sponsored by Dr. J.S. Panjrath and Shemrock School.
Furthermore, Mannat, a brilliant student who topped the entire district in the Commerce stream, was honored with a special cash award by Shemrock School for bringing laurels to the institution. Students who maintained 100% attendance throughout the academic session were also specially recognized for their strict discipline and dedication toward their studies.
The School Principal, Mrs. Parineet Sohal, congratulated all the winning students and their proud parents. In her inspiring address, she urged the students to touch the heights of success by staying rooted in humility, determination, and hard work. This memorable ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone immersed in patriotic fervor, followed by high tea arranged for the guests. The event beautifully symbolized Shemrock School’s commitment to academic excellence, cultural values, and empowering the younger generation to step forward with self-confidence.
