Mohali, Mar.01, 2026:-The NCC Cadets of Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, Mohali, in collaboration with the Mohali District Police, organized a massive awareness rally to eradicate the menace of drugs and educate the public on traffic rules. The primary goal was to inspire youth to stay away from drugs and drive responsibly on the roads.
The rally passed through the main markets and prominent areas of Mohali. Cadets carried placards and banners, urging citizens to create a drug-free society and strictly follow traffic regulations. The enthusiasm and discipline displayed by the cadets were highly commendable.
On this occasion, DSP (Punjab Police) Karnail Singh graced the event and praised the active role of the NCC cadets. He stated that the participation of youth in social causes is a sign of a bright future. He lauded the institute's initiative, noting that such campaigns bring meaningful change to society.
Director Dr. Aneet Bedi addressed the gathering, stating that youth possess immense power to transform society through awareness and responsible actions. She emphasized that such events help in character building and strengthen civic values among students.
