PTU Conducts Global TCS Code Vita Contest at Indo Global Colleges

Chandigarh 10th August:- Punjab Technical University conducted Global TCS Code Vita contest a programming competition by Tata Consultancy Services at Indo Global College Campus for engineering students. The contest was facilitated by Nishant Singh, System Engineer from TCS, PTU chose Indo Global Colleges as a Nodal Centre for this contest in north region. Around 500 students participated in this program.

Each team has two members. The contest comprised of 3 rounds of coding. The first round of the contest comprised a series of real time problem statements. Apart from selection of teams for the second round, the contest will also help contestants to warm up for the second round. For the Grand Finale, of the contest 300 teams will be chosen from all over India which will held in one of the TCSL offices. Top 3 teams will be declared as winners of the contest.

While informing about the competition Chairman Indo Global Sukhdev Singla said that TCS Code Vita, a programming competition, is TCS way of attracting young impressionable college students to adopt this culture and experience joy of programming. First winner, Second winner and third winner will be honored with 10000, 7000, 3000 US dollar along the research internship & provisional offer.
