Chandigarh 10th August:- Chandigarh Group of colleges Jhanjeri College organised a colourful programme for the orientation of new first year students. More than 1000 students of Engineering, Management, and Agriculture & Fashion Technology attended the function. The programme started with lamp lightning and saraswati Vandana. CGC, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairmain presided over the function.
Welcoming the students Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that the orientation program is opportunity to connect with faculty and to hear about community roles and traditions from upper class students & establish relationships with peers in the second home .He further informed that dreams of all the students will be fulfilled as the in Jhanjeri campus as quality education along the pre placement training is imparted to the students so that they get placed in leading companies of India before they pass out .Later, various facilities and incentives available in Jhanjeri campus were explained to the Students .
At the end he informed the students that students of Jhanjeri campus has created records by bagging highest number of positions in the merit lists of PTU and the projects made by the students of CGC Jhanjeri had won prizes in various also.
