Chandigarh 03rd June:- The Global Education Interact, an initiative by the Chopras was held at Taj Hotel,Sector 17-A, Chandigarh. The major thrust of the fair was to meet students interested in gaining admission into the current or latest up-coming intakes.
Libu Thomas, Country Head, The Chopras said that the GEI has been offering a common platform to Universities and educational Institutions internationally to interact with such students seeking opportunities abroad to fortify their educational qualification. This Exhibition has been serving as a beacon for students and parents across several cities in India, shedding light on the numerous avenues and options they have globally when it comes to further education. This way the students will have adequate back-ups without being overwhelmed by too many choices.
Vikas Jha , Branch Head of Chandigarh Unit, said that the education fair will commence on 16th May, 2015 and will continue till 5th June, 2015 spanning across 12 cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Cochin, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. He added that today's Chandigarh event was represented by About more than 60 universities from 9 countries such as Loughborough University, University of Leeds, Sheffield Hallam University, Bristol University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Birmingham City University, University of Manchester, University of Birmingham, Management Development Institute of Singapore, University of Bridgeport, Oxford Brookes University etc. will be participating in the session. He said that most of the students who wants to go for higher study in abroad choose MBA, Engineering, Finance, Management, Art & Design, Film & Media streams.
