PGI Additional Professor Nominates as Member of Advocacy and Outreach Committee

Chandigarh 03^rd June:-  Dr Akshay Anand, Additional Professor of Neuroscience Research Lab, PGI, Chandigarh has been nominated to serve as member of the Advocacy and Outreach Committee (AOC) of Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, USA for a three year term until 2018. This is a prestigious recognition based on Dr Anand's active involvement in Clean India campaign as well as other Neuroscience communication activities. Dr Akshay Anand and volunteers of Neuroscience Research have been involved in Swach Bharat campaign continuously for last 35 weeks dedicating 2 hours each week since the National program was launched by PM on October 2. The weekly Clean Indian campaign involves sensitising the patients and their relatives about link between hygiene, health and economics. The entire 35 week activities have been uploaded onto the mygov.in website of PM.
