Haryana Cabinet Gives Nod For Appointment Of Sonu Narwal Kabaddi Player as DSP

Chandigarh 29th May:-- The Haryana Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, has decided to appoint Sonu Narwal, outstanding player of Haryana PSI as Deputy Superintendent of Police. He won Gold Medal in North Zone Kabadi Championship-2009, All India Police Games at Madhuban- 2009, Asian Games at China-2010 and 58th Senior National Kabaddi North Zone Championship at Delhi – 2011, Silver Medals in Beach Asian Games at Ranchi, Jharkhand-2011, Beach Asian Games at Srilanka-2011 and Senior National Kabaddi Championship at Mumbai-2011 and Bronze Medal at 4th Beach kabaddi National Championship Vengurla Beach at Maharashtra-2010. He has been appointed DSP under the sports quota against the Ex-cadre post of DSP.

The cabinet also approved the proposal of the Home Department for granting out of turn promotion to inspector Krishan Kumar as DSP on a regular basis keeping in view his act of bravery.
