Teenage Health Issues discussed at MCM

Chandigarh 27^th September:----The MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh organized an interactive session on 'Teenage Gynaec Problems' to familiarize the students with various gynecological problems faced by the teenagers and to educate them on their prevention and cure. Dr. Pooja Mehta, Senior Gynaecology Consultant and Infertility Expert, Fortis Hospital, Mohali informed the students about common teenage health issues. The Interactive session was arranged by Medical Committee of the College.

 

The informatory lecture was followed by an interactive session with the expert. Students enthusiastically interacted with the expert and asked numerous questions. Answering their queries, Dr. Pooja Mehta emphasized the importance of awareness and knowledge about health issues in timely diagnosis and treatment.

 

The Principal of the college, Dr. Puneet Bedi, appreciated the endeavor and said, that Women healthcare was the foundation of a healthier family and society and such educative endeavors at school and college level must be encouraged.
