Mohali, August 20, 2026:-The new academic session at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, Mohali, commenced with great enthusiasm and religious devotion. A sacred Sukhmani Sahib Path was organized on the campus, followed by the Bhog, with the primary objective of seeking the blessings of the Almighty for the success of the upcoming academic session and the bright future of the students.
Students, faculty members and staff participated enthusiastically in the religious ceremony. Following the Path, an Ardas was offered for the well-being and prosperity of all. Karah Prasad was distributed among the attendees. The campus was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, adding to the festive and spiritual ambience of the occasion.
To make the beginning of the new academic session more engaging and memorable, several special activities were organized on the campus. These included a ‘Welcome Cum Hunt’ game for students, a colourful cultural programme presented by young artists, and a special ‘Planter Distribution’ drive. Through the plantation initiative, students were encouraged to spread the message of environmental conservation and greenery. A special ‘Ice-Breaker’ session was also organized for freshers to help them interact comfortably and become familiar with the campus environment.
Gian Jyoti Group Chairman J.S. Bedi, while congratulating the students and staff, said that the beginning of a new academic session marks the start of a journey filled with renewed enthusiasm and fresh goals. He expressed hope that with the blessings of the Almighty, the students would move forward confidently in every field and bring laurels to the institution.
On the occasion, Institute Director Dr. Aneet Bedi shared her thoughts and said that the institution strives to equip students not only with academic knowledge but also with strong moral values and a well-rounded personality. She said that the beginning of the new session fills everyone with renewed energy and inspires the entire team to work with dedication towards helping students realise their dreams. The programme concluded with the serving of Karah Prasad, followed by an uninterrupted Langar for everyone present.
