Mohali, Apr.15, 2026:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, celebrated the sacred occasion of Khalsa Sirjana Diwas and Vaisakhi with profound devotion and spiritual fervor. On this auspicious day, students and faculty members of the institute actively participated in the Nagar Kirtan to seek the blessings of the Almighty. During the religious event, the students and staff contributed to Langar Seva (community kitchen) with great humility and discipline. They served meals to devotees and the general public with love, showcasing their commitment to community service and humanity. This activity not only enlightened the students about the rich Sikh heritage and the significance of Khalsa Sirjana Diwas but also instilled in them the virtues of service (Seva), meditation (Simran), and gratitude.
Sharing his thoughts on this occasion, Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, said that such holy occasions connect our younger generation with their roots and high moral values. Service and faith build human character and guide the youth toward a life of responsibility and purpose.
Director Dr. Aneet Bedi also lauded the efforts of the students. She remarked that alongside academic knowledge, spirituality and the spirit of service are essential for the holistic development of a student's personality. The day proved to be a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for the entire GJIMT family.
