Chandigarh, Mar.11,2026:- Sikkim registered a three-wicket victory over Arunachal Pradesh in their last league match of the Women's Under-23 One Day Trophy Plate match being played at the Cricket Stadium, Sector 16 on Wednesday.
After winning the toss, Arunachal Pradesh elected to bat first but were bowled out for 124 in 37.4 overs. Lozen Ashfaque (16) and D. Popi (19) were the key scorers. Dikcha (4/24) was the pick of the bowlers. In reply, Sikkim chased down the target in 21 overs by finishing at 126 for 7. Samayita played a brilliant knock of 54.
Meanwhile at GMSSS-26, Mizoram registered a 14-run victory over Meghalaya.Batting first, Mizoram posted 177 in 46.2 overs. Saii (50) and Karie (41) were the top scorers.For Meghalaya, Margareth took thee wickets.In reply, Meghalaya were bowled out for 163 in 49.2 overs despite a fighting 60 from Cheanchi. Margareth (3/27) played a key role with the ball.
In the third match of the day at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula, Manipur registered a four-wicket win over Nagaland. Nagaland, batting first, were bowled out for 138 in 45.1 overs. Vipeni top-scored 32 runs while captain Alemienla contributed 26. In reply, Manipur chased down the target in 33 overs by scoring 139 for 6. Barkatun played a match-winning knock of 65 and was supported by an unbeaten 23 from Taniya Ningthoujam.
Mizoram and Sikkim topped the chart in plate group and lock horns in the finals on March 13 scheduled at Cricket Stadium, Sector 16.
