Chandigarh, Feb.06, 2026:-Vidarbha registered a comprehensive 133-run victory over Chandigarh in their opening encounter of the Senior Women's One Day Trophy encounter at Vadodara on Friday.
After winning the toss and opting to bat, Vidarbha posted an imposing total of 304/ 5 in their allotted 50 overs with the help of three half-centuries. Opener Arya Abhay Pongde (84), Skipper DD Kasat (75) and Mona (80) strengthened the innings. For Chandigarh, Aaradhana D Bisht and Tarunika claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Chandigarh struggled against disciplined Vidarbha bowling and were restricted to 171 for 7 in 50 overs. Palak Rana top-scored with 43 while Sarah contributed 37.
