Mohali, Nov. 20, 2025:-Students from Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2 have qualified for the CBSE National-Level Competitions following their outstanding performance at the CBSE Science Exhibition 2025-26 under the sub-theme 'Water Conservation and Management'. The school team participated in Category I (Classes 6-8) under the main theme "STEAM for Developed and Aatmanirbhar Bharat" at the Regional Level Exhibition held at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula.
During the exhibition, Class VIII students Manavjit Singh and Vansh Jamwal presented an innovative model for water conservation named 'Smart Rain Water Harvesting and Monitoring System'. Their project focused on preventing water wastage and ensuring its efficient use by employing modern technology. Their model was selected as one of the best, and the students were chosen for the next stage, the National Competitions, where they will compete with schools from all over the country.
Expressing his joy over the success, Vansh Jamwal said that We believe that water conservation is the need of the hour, and we are very happy to contribute to the service of the nation through our project.
Director Principal of Gian Jyoti Global School, Ms. Ranjit Bedi, congratulated the students on this achievement. Expressing her delight, she said, "Manavjit and Vansh have demonstrated their dedication and understanding of science. We are giving them our full support for the National-level preparations. They are currently working on further enhancing their project by incorporating data analysis and more sensors." She encouraged the students to continue innovating and contributing to nation-building with their ideas.
