Mohali, June 10, 2025:--Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri Campus, Mohali, renowned for providing quality education and excellent job opportunities, has once again shattered its own records. This year, CGC Jhanjeri has doubled its previous highest package record of ₹45.5 lakh from 2024, achieving an astounding ₹1 Crore highest package. To celebrate this consistent and exceptional placement achievement, the management organized a grand Placement Day in the campus.
It's noteworthy that students from various streams, including B.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, B.Com, Fashion Technology, Agriculture, and many others, are set to complete their degrees in July 2025. Almost all eligible students from these streams have been selected by leading multinational companies and financial institutions during on-campus recruitment drives, even before their degrees are finalized. While the highest package this year touched ₹1 Crore, the average package stood at an impressive ₹6.34 Lakhs. These achievements reflect the immense trust and confidence that industry companies place in CGC Jhanjeri's talent. The total number of job offers more than doubled, soaring from 872 to a staggering 1,960. Furthermore, the number of companies visiting the campus for recruitment also significantly expanded, jumping from over 650 to more than 1,133. The success doesn't end there; internship opportunities for the final semester students also saw a substantial surge. The highest stipend offered tripled, increasing from ₹0.5 lakh in 2024 to ₹1.5 lakh in 2025, proving that the industry highly values CGC Jhanjeri's practical learning model.
Sharing details, Arsh Dhaliwal, MD, CGC, stated that top global companies like Microsoft, Amazon, ServiceNow, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, HCL, and Wipro are among the premier recruiters visiting Jhanjeri Campus for placements. In addition to these, a long list of 1,133 companies are actively recruiting from CGC Jhanjeri, impressed by its excellent practical education. He also highlighted that some students have received multiple job offers. Mr. Dhaliwal added that while many private higher education institutions are reporting declining placement rates due to economic challenges, CGC Jhanjeri has created a distinct identity by recording an 18% growth in overall placements. This achievement underscores the institution's innovative thinking, technologically aligned courses, and advanced practical learning approach.
Congratulating the entire team on this remarkable achievement, President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal explained that CGC Jhanjeri Campus ensures every admitted student participates in industry projects, case studies, and receives 360-degree pre-placement training right from the first year of their studies. This concerted effort by the team ensures that companies continue to visit the campus for placements throughout the year, while students are thoroughly prepared for interviews well in advance. He attributed this success to the excellent education provided by the faculty, the practical knowledge imparted to students, the pre-placement training by the placement department, and the outstanding results delivered by the students, expressing optimism for even greater heights of success in the future. To mark this joyous occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held by the management.
