Punjabis Achieved Great Things, It's Not Difficult to Win the War against Drugs: Malvinder Singh Kang

Mohali, May 16, 2025:-- Aam Aadmi Party MP from Sri Anandpur Sahib Parliamentary constituency, Malvinder Singh Kang has said that Punjabis have fought against oppression since the time of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and have achieved great things in every field, whether it is the freedom struggle or martyrdom on the border. Not only this, Punjabis have also been leading in the field of sports and food distribution. He said that Hindi films have tarnished the image of Punjabis and have presented Punjabis as drug addicts, but the real image of Punjabis is that if they make up their mind, they can do anything. Malvinder Singh Kang said that just as Punjabis have won the country's freedom struggle and the war on the borders. similarly Punjabis will have to win the war against drugs easily.  He called upon the people of Punjab to come forward to educate others against drug abuse. He said that talented Punjabi youth should come forward and work to strengthen the society in various fields. Malvinder Singh Kang congratulated Karanjit Kaur, incharge of Police Suraksha Magazine run by Guru Nanak Seva Dal and her colleague Jarnail Singh for organizing today's awareness program against drug abuse. MP Malvinder Singh Kang arrived in Mohali to participate in this program as the chief guest.

Karanjit Kaur said on this occasion that some cases of drug abuse came to light, in which the parents of the youth were very worried and in view of this, she has planned the program to participate in the "Drug War" campaign being run by the government through her magazine "Police Suraksha Magazine", so that the society can get rid of this evil of drug abuse.

Former BJP MP Dr. Mukesh Sahu Maheshwari, educationist Sundar Lal Agarwal, Mahant Devyani Nandgiri and Mohali DSP Harsimran Singh Bal and other distinguished personalities were present during the program.

 On this occasion, the students of Ratan Professional College presented a colourful programme and also performed a play to create awareness against drug abuse.
