Chandigarh July 10, 2021:- Women Empowerment forum and Green Campus Club of the College is working on the campus beautification by covering the college campus to make it clean and more green. The club members took initiative on the direction of President Upkar Krishan Sharma to organize a tree plantation drive in the college on the occasion of Vanmahotsav in the month of July, 2021.
To arrange the plants Dr. Jaswinder Kaur approaches Dr. Sukhwinder kaur Virk (President Inner Wheel Club, Ambala City), who agreed to provide the herbal plants to make the tree plantation drive successful and she made all the arrangements to bring the plants to the College on 9th & 10th July,2021.
Principal, Prof. Dr. Rama Arora and all the teaching & non-teaching staff members together planted the trees in the College campus. Principal madam encouraged the staff members to work towards a clean and green environment and appreciated Event Green Environment Club Coordinator Dr. Jaswinder Kaur and her team members Vivek Ravi and Geeta kocher for taking the initiative to plant the tree for plantation drive.
