Chandigarh July 8, 2021:- The Young Communicators Club (YCC) of Mehr Chand Mahajan College for Women, in collaboration with Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Chandigarh Chapter, organised an online interactive session on film making and story telling titled 'Tale Flair'. The resource person for this session was Ojaswwee Sharma, Award winning Film Maker, Producer and Screenwriter. The event began with address by Vivek Atray, Ex IAS, Author, Motivational Speaker and Chairman, PRCI Chandigarh Chapter. Motivating the students to consistently refine the finesse and flair in their lives for bringing out the best in them, Vivek Atray urged them to kindle the spirit of creativity at a very young age and to carry it throughout their lives. In a lively and informative session, Ojaswwee shared his personal experience in the film industry with the enthusiastic participants. With pertinent examples from the world of cinema, Ojaswwee lucidly explained the nuances of the art and techniques of film making and storytelling. The engaging session was followed by a discussion session wherein the participants shared their queries with the expert. The event was viewed by over 450 people, making it a successful one.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava lauded the efforts of MCM YCC for chiseling the communication skills of students as these are one of the most important ingredients for success. She added that learning the art of communication from inspiring personalities can help in inculcating dynamism in students.
