Chandigarh May 17, 2021:-To spread awareness among the people Desh Bhagat University, faculty of nursing organized an expert talk on 'COVID - 19 pandemic and plasma in the battle against it'. Dr. S. P Surila MBBS; DCM&H PCMS-I (RETD) formerly chief chemical examiner state forensic lab government of Punjab was the key speaker of the session. During the session, Chancellor of the University Dr. Zora Singh said that this is so burning issue nowadays that so many rumors and myths took place regarding covid 19.
Guest speaker Dr. Surila stressed the importance of vaccination and social distancing during these days. He explained that how plasma donation can be helpful to prevent the spread of COVID.
Faculty of nursing, students, and their parents attended the lecture. Students and parents from J.K, Bihar, Himachal, Punjab, Kerala, Haryana, Delhi, and U.P also joined this session. This expert talk was coordinated By Lovekirat Singh And Sunita Student of m.sc nursing 2nd-year medical-surgical nursing cardiothoracic nursing under the supervision of Dr. Priyanka Chaudhary.
