Chandigarh 16th August:Maharishi Dayanand Public School Daria, celebtared Independence Day with pomp and splendor. It started with flag hoisting by the Branch Manager of Central Bank India Uttam Chand and Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar followed by the national anthem and patriotic songs.
Dr. Vinod Kumar said that the students should grow with wholesome personality maintaining the unity and diversity amongst them. Uttam Chand encouraged the students and said that they should not be afraid to challenge the norm but willing to take a chance. He advised the students to be optimistic with a calm and clear mind. Students gave their views on Independence Day and presented song and cultural activities. Sweets distributions were arranged on this auspicious occasion by Central Bank of India.
