Mobile Dealers Donate 85 Units of Blood to Mark Lumia 540 Launch

Chandigarh 28th May:-  Chandigarh Mobile Dealers Association today announced the launch of feature-packed Microsoft smart phone Lumia 540. The launch was marked by a cause as the dealers organized a blood donation camp in the market, in which 85 units of blood were donated.

While giving more detail about the Lumia 540, the president of mobile dealers association Vivek Nijhawan said  that the dual SIM model which supports 3G networks, comes with a 5 inches display, and stands out as it is the only smartphone in the market which comes with features of phones which are priced around Rs 15,000. On the other hand Lumia 540 comes with a price tag of Rs 10,199 only.

He added that in this segment the model happens to be only one with 8 GB expandable storage and 1 GB RAM and also the fastest phone with quad-core processor. It comes with 8 Megapixel primary camera and 5 Megapixel wide angle front camera for selfie and Skype, and 2200 mAh battery. Vivek Nijhawan said that this model will give a stiff competition to mobiles coming with a pricing of Rs 10,000 to 15,000. Key retailer Anmol said the dealers said the Lumia 540 Dual SIM runs on Windows Phone 8.1 (with Denim) operating system and will be upgradable to Windows 10 later this year.

The launch in city's popular mobile market in Sector 22 was unique and different as mobile dealers from across the city joined the cause by donating blood at the camp. Among prominent present included Microsoft Regional Sales Manager, Brijesh Dubey, Sales Manager Mohit Kapur & the entire Microsoft team, which had organized the camp jointly with Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32.

Sandeep Singh owner of Microsoft Priority Store said that this will boost the category sale & will also fill the range gap. The distributor Girish Bhayana said that his 7 years association with the brand will strengthen further with this kind of launches, which give customer a value for money.
