Mayor inaurugates 5th Painter’s Workshop in Chandigarh

Chandigarh 30th January:- Poonam Sharma, Mayor of Chandigarh has inaugurated the 5thedition of the Painter's Workshop in Chandigarh today organized by  Magma Fincorp. Also present on the occasion was Suryakant Mishra, Associate Vice President, Magma Fincorp Ltd who elaborated about the initiative and their future plans.

Magma has been organizing painters' workshops all across the country including Chandigarh as part of its CSR initiative which is aimed at promoting art amongst upcoming talents. The 5th edition of the painters' workshop in Chandigarh witnessed the creation of brilliant work of art by all the participants. City artists from Chandigarh participated in the workshop and showcased their talents through their excellent masterpieces on the canvases. This initiative of Magma Fincorp has over the years, provided platforms to budding artists in various locations to showcase their talent to the world.

Poonam Sharma, said that it really feels great to see such talented people around. This is an excellent platform for the budding artists who can come out with their creative best.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Suryakant Mishra, Associate Vice President, Magma Fincorp Ltd, said, that Magma has always encouraged and nurtured talents in the field of art. We have been organizing this workshop in various parts of the country over the years and each time there is an overwhelming response from each city. We feel privileged and honoured to announce that this is the fifth edition of our initiative in Chandigarh and like always the participants have enthralled us with their creations. We have successfully organized similar workshops in cities like Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneswar, Pune, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad apart from other cities. We look forward to many more such workshops in the city in years to come.
