Chandigarh 02nd August:- Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, hosted their Fresher's Party 2014, for the first year students of B.Sc. (H&HA) and the Diploma in Food Production in the College Campus. Saksham Saini won the title of Mr. Fresher & Ms. Hukme Singh won the title of Miss. Fresher, whereas Mr. Personality title gone to Hemant Sharma. The fresher's party were organised on the theme of Hawaiian theme, the college auditorium was decorated radiating Hawaiian vibes. The fresher's were all very excited about the event.
The event started with various cultural programme which included song and dance performances followed by a welcome speech by Mrs. Bharti Tyagi, the Principal of the Institute, in which she addressed the newcomers that, "This could be a life changing journey for you, and we wish each fresher to prosper and endeavor to walk out of these halls as elements of perfection" and finally the finale ramp walk which gave the institute their Mr. and Ms. Fresher's, and the other titles.
There was a huge cluster of AIHM students, enjoying dance and music, mingling to become a big family to share love and happiness together and an evening to be cherished lifelong with a broad smile upon their faces.
