Chandigarh, 01st September: ----Arena Animation Institute, Chandigarh celebrated its Founders Day 2013 in style. Named Arena 17 Founders Day the function saw a colourful cultural programme presented by students. Not just song, dance and music the event also saw organization of GO 48! 2013 Awards. The students of Arena Animation have displayed their talent by getting coveted positions in top animation and visual effects companies, productions houses and TV channels of the country and abroad. The annual day was a time to let one's hair down and enjoy after all the hard work done in classrooms.
According to Vineet Raj Kapoor Director Arena Animation, that "GO48! Is recognition of hard work put in by our students while developing Visual effects and Animation projects. Those who sat continuously for 48 hours or more for completing their projects were honoured."
Many bigwigs graced the occasion. Prominent among these were Sanjay Malhotra of TV Serial Goongi Twareekh fame and who has also done several Telefilms with Dr. Irshad Kamil was also present. Ajay Prasad, Director, STPI, Mohali, Dr. Kanchan Mukherjee, a Leading Neurosurgeon of PGI and Parveen Sethi, Area Manager, Alfa Lava too participated. Two leading painters Anjali Savita and Sanjay Kumar were there. The business world was represented by Saurabh Gupta, a leading Industrialist of the city. The students got a chance of interacting with these well established and successful people.
