Chandigarh 14th August:- A Pre- Departure formalities, awareness seminar is being hosted by "The Chopras" for about 125 students for different countries like UK/. USA/ Canada/ Australia and is well attended by the parents of the students who are heading abroad.
While speaking on this occasion Ms. Poonam Singh Branch Manager "The Chopras" said that this programme has been arranged for the students who are heading abroad for their higher studies. This type of Informative sessions also provides an opportunity to meet other students (and their parents) who are heading abroad and possibly to the same university. This event is one of a kind and not only involves an informative session but becomes a platform for students to meet the alumni of the colleges where they are going to study for the next few years of their lives. It increases their chances of smooth transition. She further said that during the programme complete details given about their departure from Airport to Landing at their destination and also about the universities given to the students.
