Optimism & enthusiasm is the key to success in present slowdown: Arun Bharat Ram to young tricity entrepreneurs

Chandigarh 14th August:--- "To achieve success in the present globally dynamic business scenario, one must be an optimist to the core of heart and adopt a highly positive approach towards the ever changing domestic and global market conditions", emphasised Arun Bharat Ram, Past President, CII & Chairman, SRF Limited while addressing the members of Young Indians (Yi) Chandigarh Tricity Chapter of CII at its Headquarters in sector 31, here today.

Exhorting the young entrepreneurs to battle out the present slow down with optimism and enthusiasm, he said that "India and the world economies are experiencing a recessionary phase and it is only the young blood that can act as a substantial game changer and bring about a revolution. India is a young economy and the aspiring youth needs to adopt a balanced approach in terms of entrepreneurship, which not only helps generate profits but also helps in nation building activities like upliftment of the deprived sections of society." He also highlighted the importance of key reforms like Goods and Services Tax (GST), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), land acquisition and labour laws for India to compete with China and other developed economies. This learning session, organized by Young Indians (Yi), an integral part of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) aimed at mentoring the aspiring young and budding entrepreneurs of the Tricity.  A lot of young entrepreneurs of the city interacted with the CII Past President. "Young entrepreneurs in our country are the powerhouse of Indian Economy and they need to develop such business models that are innovative and future oriented. By implementing such ideas only we can bring about a revolution in all sectors of production and distribution. By organizing such brain storming sessions, CII Yi endeavours to bring about a positive change in young minds which can contribute to nation building",

Robin Aggarwal, Chairman, CII Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter. "There is a dire need for the young entrepreneurs to adopt an eco-friendly approach which caters to the preservation of scarce resources and the ecological balance of the planet. In addition, we must also strive towards creating such a society in which the wealth is equitably distributed amongst all the sections of the society", Jaiparkash S Hasrajani, Co-Chair, CII Yi Chandigarh Tricity Chapter.
