Gurgaon City Bus Service will be further Improved as 50 Low-Floor Air-Conditioned CNG buses would be added to its fleet and put to operation during the month of August, 2013, thus raising the number of buses in this feet to 160

Chandigarh 26th July: ---Gurgaon City Bus Service will be further improved as 50 low-floor air-conditioned CNG buses would be added to its fleet and put to operation during the month of August, 2013, thus raising the number of buses in these feet to 160.

While stating this today, Director General, State Transport, Haryana, Arun Kumar said that first 10 of these buses have already arrived and after completion of formalities, these would be put to operation by next week.  Another batch of 10 buses is ready and will arrive by first week of August. At present Haryana Roadways is plying 110 buses on 15 routes and each bus is doing two shifts.  These buses cover about 23000 kms. a day and carry about one lakh passengers.
