Chandigarh 03^rd January:- चंडीगढ़ शहर की पुरानी फड़ी मार्किट के तौर पर जानी जाने वाली "ओल्ड फड़ी मार्किट" सेक्टर 22 डी के लगभग 25 साल बाद हुए चुनाव में सुखविंदर सिंह उर्फ़ लाटी ने अपने प्रतिद्वंदी राम सरूप जोंनी को 14 वोटों के अंतर से हराकर जीत हासिल की और "ओल्ड फड़ी मार्किट" के प्रधान के तौर पर पदभार ग्रहण किया।

सुखविंदर सिंह लाती ने सभी सदस्यों का धन्यवाद किया और जीत हासिल करने के बाद सबसे पहले सेक्टर 22  के गुरुद्वारा साहिब जाकर वाहेगुरु का आशीर्वाद लिया ।

मार्किट के सभी सदस्यों ने नए चुने प्रधान को फूलमाला पहना कर पूरी मार्किट का चक्कर लगाया।इस अवसर पर नरेश गोयल, सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खा, प्रताप सिंह, दलीप सिंह, अनिल सैनी और नरिंदर मट्टू भी मौजूद थे। सुखविंदर सिंह लाटी ने सभी सदस्यों का धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा की वो मार्किट और इसके सदस्यों के हित्तों का पूरा ध्यान रखेंगे और उनके सभी सुझाव और समस्याएं प्रशासन और नगर निगम के सामने रखेंगे।

Chandigarh 03^rd January:- Balbir Sidhu the Congress candidate from Mohali assembly seat has termed the state government recommendation to central government to end kerosene oil quota as an anti-poor. The SAD-BJP government real face of anti-poor has again come to fore while seeking cancelling of poor people kerosene quota.

Balbir Sidhu was speaking at a meeting of party leaders and workers from Mohali district at Sector 71 here last night which was convened by Dilbag Singh Dhindsa. Balbir Sidhu criticized the central government for increasing fuel prices. The common public which is already facing the great hardship due to demonetization will be adversely affected by the fuel price hike.

He said further that instead to work for bringing 'acche din' for country people ,  Modi government has added to their woes by announcing fuel prices hike on the first day of a new year. The poor are going to suffer more with this as they are already facing problem to make their both ends meet after demonetization has badly affected their daily earnings.  

He demanded that Prakash Singh Badal, CM Punjab should clarify his stand on fuel price hike as international prices of oil are very low right now . Ironically UPA government led by Dr Manmohan Singh had never put extra burden on common man despite a steep hike in prices of oil in international markets.

Balbir Sidhu said that during UPA regime,  Akalis would create hullaballoo on small issues but now in NDA rule they have shut their mouth on anti-people policies of central government.  This reflect the dual face of Akalis for which they along with BJP have to pay heavy prices in coming assembly poll.

पंजाब में जब तक रिवायती नशे नहीं खोले जाते,तब तक पंजाब में नशा खत्म नहीं किया जा सकता:धर्मबीर गांधी

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- पंजाब फ्रंट के धर्मबीर गांधी ने अब एक बयान दिया है कि पंजाब में से नशा तब तक खत्म नहीं किया जा सकता। जब तक पंजाब में लोगों को अफीम, भुक्की जैसे नशे आसानी से नहीं मुहैया करवाये जाते। उन्होने कहा कि एनडीपीएस एक्ट सख्त कानून है जिसने लोगों को अपराधी बना दिया है और 30 प्रतिशत लोग अभी भी अपराधी बनाकर जेलों में रह रहे हैं। 

पंजाब फ्रंट ने अब तक अपने 26 उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट जारी कर दी है। सोमवार को चंडीगढ़ स्थित प्रैस क्लब में पंजाब फ्रंट के धर्मबीर गांधी ने अपने 11 और उम्मीदवारों की लिस्ट जारी कर दी। जिसमें उन्होने कहा कि उनका फ्रंट पंजाब से संबंधित मुद्दों पर ही चुनाव लड़ेगा, न कि केजरीवाल और कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह की तरह जुमलेबाजी और झूठे वायदे कर कर। 

धर्मबीर गांधी ने एक स्लोगन भी दिया है जिसमें उन्होने पंजाब में नशा कैसे खत्म होगा इस पर है। उन्होने एक बयान दिया कि पंजाब में रिवायती नशे अफीम, भुक्की जब तक नहीं खोले जाते, और लोगों को ये नशे आसानी से नहीं मुहैया करवाए जाते। तब तक पंजाब में नशा खत्म नहीं किया जा सकता। कोई भी पार्टी हो वह सिर्फ जुमलेबाजी और झूठे वायदे कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा कुछ नहीं। एनडीपीएस एक्ट सख्त है उसे खत्म किया जाना चाहिए। जिसने कई लोगों को अपराधी बना दिया है। और 30 प्रतिशत लोगों को अभी भी अपराधी बनाकर जेलों में डाल दिया है। जो कि गलत है।

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- नोटबंदी के बाद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 50 दिन मांगें थे। लेकिन लोग अभी भी अपनी खुद की कमाई के रूपये नहीं निकाल पा रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी से अब चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस पार्टी ने पांच सवाल पूछे हैं कि इतने दिनों में सरकार ने कितने काला धन रखने वाले लोगों को पकड़ा, और जो लोग इस दौरान मरे। उन्हें कितना मुआवजा मिला ऐसे ही सवालों के जवाबों को लेकर चंडीगढ़ यूथ कांग्रेस और महिला कांग्रेस अब प्रदर्शन करने जा रही है। 

चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस पार्टी अब अलग अलग स्तर पर प्रदर्शन करने जा रही है। जिसमें यूथ कांग्रेस और महिला कांग्रेस नोटबंदी के बाद लोगों को आ रही मुशकिलों को लेकर सड़कों पर उतरेगी और प्रदर्शन करेगी। और उन सवालों के जवाब प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से पूछेगी। कि नोटबंदी के लिए पीएम मोदी ने 50 दिन का समय मांगा था लेकिन अभी भी लोगों को राहत नहीं दी गई और लोग अभी भी अपनी खुद की कमाई के रूपये नहीं निकाल पा रहे। नोटबंदी जैसे फैसले से पहले सरकार ने मशवरा क्यों नहीं किया। जो लोग मरे क्या सरकार उनको मुआवजा देगी। और 25 लाख रूपये कितने लोगों के अकाउंट में आए। 

चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस के अध्य़क्ष प्रदीप छाबड़ा और यूथ कांग्रेस के प्रधान हरमेल केसरीने पीएम मोदी ने जनता बेवकूफ बनाया। और जितना भी काला धन पकड़ा गया। उसके बारे में सरकार अभी भी तक बता नहीं पाई। जिसके विरोध वह प्रदर्शन करेंगें।

Governor and Member of Parliament, Inaugurates “ANNAPURNA AKSHAYPATRA”

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- The Governor of  Punjab and Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh jointly with Member of Parliament, Kirron Kher inaugurated "ANNAPURNA AKSHAYPATRA" a project  initiated by Indian Red Cross Society, U.T. Branch, Chandigarh to provide affordable, hygienic and nutritious diet to the laborers, Industrial workers and all the needy in the city with active support of Health Department, Labour Department, Food & Supplies Department, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Bharat Petroleum corporation Ltd., Sewa Bharti, Chandigarh., Panchkula Gaushala Trust, Panchkula and Market Committee, U.T. Chandigarh.

Under this project, a Kitchen Shed is erected at Karuna Sadan Building, Sector 11-B, Chandigarh with total initial cost of the project of Rs.70 Lac. The required infrastructure has been arranged through different philanthropists. The food will be prepared and packed in kitchen set up at Karuna Sadan Building, Sector 11, Chandigarh and daily distribution will be done at the following areas from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. The cost of Food Packet will be Rs.10/- each.

Applauding the move of Indian Red Cross Society, Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament, U.T., Chandigarh decided to give five vans from the MPLAD fund which would help in serving more people of the city.

Chandigarh 02^nd January:- The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh, V.P Singh Badnore and Member of Parliament, U.T., Chandigarh, Kirron Kher inaugurated the Sports Stadium at Govt. School Sector-43, Chandigarh today.

To promote sports and fitness activities in the city, Chandigarh Administration has decided to provide better sports facilities in the city. One of the initiatives was taken by inaugurating the sports stadium at sector 43, Chandigarh today. The stadium has a multipurpose hall which consists of a swimming pool, Badminton Court, Gymnasium, Table Tennis Court, and Squash Court. The rough budget passed to build this fine stadium was RS. 8, 48, 74,000.
