By 121 News
Chandigarh, Sept.18, 2026:-- BSH Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, the global leader in premium home appliances, is strengthening the Bosch built-in cooking portfolio in India with the launch of its latest range of hobs and hoods, as the company looks to accelerate the adoption of built-in cooking solutions. The launch comes as India's kitchen upgrade cycle continues to evolve, driven by growing investments in modular kitchens, rising demand for premium homes, and increasing preference for thoughtfully designed, integrated living spaces. As homeowners look for kitchens that combine aesthetics, functionality, and technology, built-in appliances are expanding beyond niche luxury projects into the broader premium housing segment. BSH sees significant category leading opportunity with a comprehensive array of solutions that set a new benchmark for modern kitchens. The company's premium cooking category under Bosch witnessed an uptick of 21% year-on-year growth in H1 2026, reinforcing its confidence in the market opportunity.

This festive season, BSH is strengthening its ambition to win the premium cooking space in India by combining global innovation, sophisticated design and technology engineered for the realities of Indian kitchens. The new Bosch hobs address everyday cooking challenges through True3D Flame for more even heat distribution, PreciseFlame Control for greater cooking precision, AirClean Burners that reduce key indoor pollutants, and burners offering up to 66% efficiency to help save gas over the appliance’s lifetime. Complementing them, Bosch hoods bring SmartSuction, AutoOn, MaxCapture Design and Quiet BLDC motor technology for powerful extraction, cleaner air, quieter operation and improved efficiency. Together, these innovations move the proposition beyond premium products to a more intelligent, elevated kitchen experience, reinforcing BSH’s ambition to set the benchmark for premium cooking in India.

Saif Khan, Managing Director & CEO, BSH Home Appliances India, said that India’s premium kitchen is entering a new era, and Bosch is uniquely positioned to shape it. Our strength lies in bringing together the precision and engineering heritage of Bosch with a deep understanding of how India actually cooks. This is the philosophy behind the expansion of our cooking portfolio. We are building a complete Bosch cooking ecosystem that brings together design, performance and technology across hobs, hoods, ovens and small appliances, with innovations developed to be relevant to the Indian consumer.

As we significantly expand our portfolio in 2026 with this new launch, our ambition is not simply to participate in the growth of built in cooking, but to lead it. We want to make premium cooking more aspirational, more intelligent and more accessible, while setting a higher benchmark for the modern Indian kitchen. Equally important is how we bring this proposition to consumers. We are strengthening our retail ecosystem to create a more personalised experience, where consumers can engage with our products alongside kitchen designers and architects, experience the benefits first hand and understand how an integrated kitchen can transform the way they cook and live. We are confident that this new range of Bosch hobs and hoods will be a game changer for Indian kitchens, bringing multiple industry firsts and a level of engineering and innovation that raises the bar for premium cooking in India.

A century after this pioneering concept transformed the kitchen, the integrated kitchen continues to shape BSH’s approach to the modern home. As the concept marks its global anniversary, its legacy remains central to BSH’s evolution of the kitchen. What began as a revolutionary idea has grown into the heart of the home and remains BSH’s most important business segment. Building on this heritage, Bosch’s built in steam ovens and microwaves along with the new hobs and hoods strengthens BSH’s vision of creating a complete built in cooking ecosystem in India, bringing together technology, functionality and design to enable more intuitive, convenient and seamless cooking experiences catering to specific needs of Indian cooking

The new range will be available through Bosch brand stores as well as built-in appliance distribution network, with dedicated product portfolios curated for both channels. Through continued consumer education, experiential demonstrations and category-building initiatives, BSH aims to accelerate the adoption of integrated kitchen solutions.

Supporting this growth ambition is Bosch's expanding retail footprint currently spanning 134 brand stores across India, with a longer-term ambition of 500+ stores by 2030, alongside a robust after-sales ecosystem covering more than 19,000 pin codes through 370+ service partners and over 1,600 trained technicians, ensuring a seamless ownership experience and helping more consumers elevate their kitchens with intelligent solutions designed for the way India cooks.
