Mohali, Aug.17, 2026:-The Kindergarten Wing of Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2, Mohali, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The little learners made the occasion memorable through a colourful and cheerful programme. The event began with dance performances by students from all the classes. Dressed in tricolour outfits, the young learners performed with confidence and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the celebration. Their enthusiastic participation added to the spirit and charm of the occasion.
A poetry competition was also organised for the students, providing them with an opportunity to recite patriotic poems and showcase their confidence and artistic talent. The young participants took part enthusiastically and won appreciation with their impressive performances. Following the Independence Day celebrations, a prize distribution ceremony was held for the poetry competition. The winners were felicitated for their hard work and excellent performances. The moment filled the students with immense joy and enthusiasm.
Addressing the students, Gian Jyot, Principal of Gian Jyoti School, said that the young children had celebrated the day with tremendous enthusiasm and confidence. He said, “It was wonderful to see our little ones dressed in the colours of our national flag, performing on stage and participating so joyfully. Such celebrations create beautiful memories for children and help instil a sense of pride in the nation.” The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, with the young students thoroughly enjoying the performances, prizes and festive spirit of Independence Day.
