Brookfield International School Hosts Vibrant 'Teej Tarang-2026' Fair Dedicated to Mothers

Mohali, August 04, 2026:-Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, celebrated 'Teej Tarang-2026' with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. The special event was dedicated to the mothers of the school community, transforming the campus into a vibrant celebration filled with colourful traditional attire, joy, and cultural fervour.

Mothers of students from Classes V and VI wholeheartedly embraced Punjabi traditions and celebrated the festival of Teej with immense enthusiasm. A variety of competitions were organized during the event, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, confidence, and talent.

One of the major attractions was the Mehndi Competition, where mothers displayed artistic and intricate henna designs on their hands. The Traditional Punjabi Ramp Walk captivated the audience as participants confidently showcased the elegance and grace of Punjabi attire. The finalists also impressed everyone during the question-and-answer round by displaying their confidence, presence of mind, and thoughtful responses.

The celebrations became even more lively with energetic performances of Giddha and other traditional folk dances that filled the atmosphere with festive excitement. Adding to the charm of the event were stalls featuring authentic Punjabi delicacies and handcrafted products reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Punjab. Mothers also enthusiastically participated in fun-filled games such as tug of war, musical chairs, and riddles, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone present.

The event was graced by renowned motivational speaker and holistic life coach Sheenam Walia as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, she inspired the mothers with her motivational thoughts and encouraged them to continue playing their invaluable role in society. The esteemed Principal of the school also graced the occasion and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all the mothers.

At the conclusion of the programme, attractive prizes were presented to the winners, followed by refreshments for all attendees.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, School Chairman Manav Singla said that our mothers are the backbone of our families and society. Festivals like Teej not only keep us connected to our rich cultural heritage but also strengthen the bonds of love and togetherness.
