Mohali, Aug.31, 2026:-Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, hosted its annual inter-school debate competition ‘OPINIEATOR’26’ on August 25, bringing together talented young minds from various schools across the Tricity on a common platform. The event witnessed an impressive display of innovative ideas, exceptional confidence and logical thinking by the participating students.
Students participated enthusiastically in all three categories—Junior, Intermediate and Senior—showcasing their communication skills, critical thinking and debating abilities. To encourage and recognize the outstanding performers, special cash prizes were announced. The winners were awarded ₹5,100, first runners-up received ₹2,100, while the Best Rebuttal and Best Speaker awards carried a cash prize of ₹1,100 each. Participants who demonstrated special initiative and effort were also presented ₹500 as an encouragement prize.
Speaking on the occasion, Manav Singla, President, Brookfield International School, appreciated the enthusiasm and dedicated efforts of the students who participated from different schools. Congratulating all the winners, he said that such competitions play an important role in developing leadership qualities and self-confidence among young learners. He also encouraged every participant to continuously enhance their communication skills, critical thinking and art of debating.
The event also featured a variety of engaging activities for teachers, which added further excitement and enthusiasm to the occasion.
At the conclusion of the programme, the jury members were specially thanked for their valuable time, dedication and impartial judgments. ‘OPINIEATOR’26’ proved to be much more than a competition—it emerged as a memorable experience of learning, understanding, sharing ideas and developing confidence among young minds.
