Chandigarh, May 04, 2026:-^The UT Cricket Association (UTCA) felicitated promising cricketer Nandini Sharma on her selection in the Indian team for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 scheduled to be held in England in June 2026.
A simple ceremony was organized at the cricket stadium, Sector 16 where UTCA's Founder President and Governing Council Member of the Women's Premier League (BCCI), Sanjay Tandon felicitated Nandini for her remarkable achievement in the presence of her parents and siblings.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Tandon congratulated Nandini and lauded her dedication, discipline and consistent performances that earned her a place in the national squad. He expressed confidence that she would make the country proud on the global stage and inspire many young girls to take up the sport.
Visibly delighted, Nandini Sharma thanked UTCA for its constant support and guidance throughout her journey. She credited her coaches, family, association and teammates for standing by her and helping her reach this milestone.
Present on the occasion include ALok Krishan, Treasurer, UTCA, Devender Sharma, CEO, UTCA and Apex member Daniel Banerji.
