Mohali, May 13, 2026:--On the occasion of National Technology Day, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology (GJIMT), Phase 2, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, organized an informative session on "Digital Transformation in India." The primary goal of the event was to connect students with India's technological advancements and the vision of 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India).
To make the session engaging, several activities were organized alongside academic discussions. A short film showcasing India's nuclear power and scientific achievements was screened, inspiring a sense of pride and patriotism among the students. Additionally, students presented models and posters focused on Digital India and emerging technologies. A fast-paced quiz competition covering India’s digital milestones—such as UPI, 5G, and AI—was also held, drawing enthusiastic participation.
Addressing the students, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of Gian Jyoti Institute, stated that such sessions help students look beyond textbooks to understand the nation's real-world technological progress. "Our aim is to prepare youth who are ready for future technical challenges and who can contribute significantly to the dream of a 'Viksit Bharat'," she added. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where experts encouraged students to continuously upgrade their technical skills.
