Chandigarh, Apr.14, 2026:--The UT Cricket Association (UTCA) has released the first-stage schedule for the upcoming Gully Cricket Tournament being organised in association with Chandigarh Police. A total of 128 matches will be conducted in the initial phase which is scheduled to run until April 21. The pre-quarter final stage will commence from April 22. The boys’ matches will be played across eight venues in the city while all girls’ matches will be held at Government High School, Sector 19. To ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of the tournament, Chandigarh Police has deployed its officials alongside UTCA’s designated venue managers.
The tournament will be inaugurated on April 17 at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium with Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini as the Chief Guest and UT Chief Secretary H. Rajesh Prasad as the Guest of Honour.
At the sidelines of the tournament, exhibition matches featuring the city’s intellectual and prominent personalities will be organised over the weekends during the tournament.
The tournament will culminate with the grand finale on May 1.
