Chandigarh, April 27, 2026:--Anshul Pandey produced a breathtaking knock to script the highest individual score of the ongoing Gully Cricket Tournament being jointly organised by the UT Cricket Association in collaboration with Chandigarh Police. While batting for Team No. 101, Anshul scored144 off just 37 balls with 17 sixes and eight boundaries at GMSSS-8. He found solid support in Jatin (56 off 13 balls) as the team piled up a massive 231/3. In response, Team No. 111 was bundled out for 65. Divyanshu picked up four wickets for the winning side.
With the conclusion of Day 10, Round Four of the tournament has come to an end and the top 16 teams have progressed to the pre-quarterfinal stage which will be played on Tuesday.
The day also witnessed several other notable results with Team No. 212 defeating Team No. 220 by 8 runs and Team No. 236 registering a 27-run win over Team No. 227. Team No. 255 secured a convincing 65-run victory against Team No. 246, while Team No. 74 cruised to a 9-wicket win over Team No. 65. Team No. 93 edged past Team No. 88 by 13 runs, and Team No. 119 defeated Team No. 127 by 29 runs. In the girls’ pre-quarterfinal matches, Team No. 19 beat Team No. 18 by 8 wickets, Team No. 21 overcame Team No. 24 by 9 wickets, Team No. 25 defeated Team No. 27 by 34 runs, and Team No. 32 got the better of Team No. 30 by 6 wickets.
