Chandigarh, Mar.27, 2026:-- The Young Hernia Society of India Conference series, a well-recognized academic platform in the field of hernia surgery, is set to host its two-day 4th bi-annual national conference—Young HSICON 2026—here from tomorrow. The conference is being conducted under the banner of the Hernia Society of India in association with the Punjab Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India.
Giving information during a press conference here on Friday, Dr. Anupam Goel, organizing chairman of conference said that hosting the 4th bi-annual conference in Chandigarh is a matter of great pride, as we bring together some of the finest surgical minds from across the country. This platform is not just about learning, but about shaping the future of hernia surgery through collaboration, innovation, and shared expertise, he asserted.
The conference will witness participation from over 400 leading surgeons, including 250 regional delegates, 100 national experts, and 75 industry professionals, making it one of the most significant gatherings in the field of hernia surgery. The event will feature a comprehensive scientific program including master video surgical sessions, panel discussions, research presentations, and deliberations on the latest advancements in laparoscopic and robotic hernia surgery.
