Chandigarh, Mar.09, 2026:-Meghalaya registered a comfortable six-wicket victory over Nagaland in the Women's U-23 One Day Trophy Plate match being played under the hosting of UT Cricket Association (UTCA) at the Sector-16 Cricket Stadium on Monday.
Batting first, Nagaland were bowled out for 145 runs in 46 overs. Iluneule Zeliang top-scored with 46 runs, while captain Alemienla contributed 27. For Meghalaya, B. Dkhar and Cheanchi claimed three wickets each. In reply, Meghalaya chased down the target with ease, scoring 146 for 4 in 46 overs. Captain M. Lyngdoh scored an unbeaten 78.
Meanwhile at GMSSS-26, Manipur registered a convincing nine-wicket victory over Sikkim. Batting first, Sikkim were bowled out for 129 in 42.4 overs. Samayita (29) and Nandika (26) were the main contributors. For Manipur, TH Mangalsana (3/24) impressed with the ball. In reply, Manipur comfortably chased the target by reaching 130/1 in 24 overs. Barkatun starred with an unbeaten 104.
In the third match of the day played at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula, Mizoram registered a comfortable six-wicket victory over Arunachal Pradesh. Batting first, Arunachal Pradesh were bowled out for 153 in 45.5 overs. Taniya top-scored with 45 while Nabam Rani remained unbeaten on 35. For Mizoram, Zdi (5/22) claimed five wickets. In reply, Mizoram chased down the target comfortably, reaching 154/4 in 34.2 overs. Sawmtluangi anchored the chase with a fluent 58 while Jacinta contributed 41.
