Chandigarh, July 19, 2025:--The Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) Chandigarh Chapter held its crucial Chapter-Level Meeting at Rajasthan Bhawan on 19th July 2025, following the National AGM held in New Delhi from 11–13 July.
Addressing the gathering, FANS National General Secretary Raj Kishore emphasized on the vision laid by Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member RSS and patron of FANS. He urged the Chandigarh unit to lead from the front in advancing national security awareness and grassroots engagement. He underlined the need to translate the national roadmap into impactful regional action.
The highlight of the meeting was the formal handover of leadership. Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Anil Khosla took charge as the new President of the Chandigarh Chapter, succeeding B P Yadav, who has now been appointed Chief Mentor. Other key appointments included Rahul Sharma as General Secretary, Paramjit Singh as Vice President, Shashank Bhandari as PRO & Spokesperson, and Ms. Urvashi Dhugga continuing as Secretary.
The new team was felicitated by Raj Kishore, who conveyed best wishes for their mission ahead. Maj. Gen. Khosla led a dynamic interactive session outlining the chapter's future strategy. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Rahul Sharma.
