Mohali, March 26, 2025:-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology Phase 2, Mohali in collaboration with the Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp as part of the ongoing 7-day NSS Camp at GJIMT. The initiative aimed to promote the spirit of selfless service and encourage youth participation in life-saving causes. The NSS volunteers of GJIMT made a remarkable contribution by actively donating blood, resulting in the collection of 72 units. Their dedication to social service exemplifies the true essence of the NSS motto: "Not Me, But You." Each donor was recognized with an appreciation certificate, and blood donor cards will be issued within four weeks.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of GJIMT, expressed her gratitude to the NSS volunteers and organizers, stating that "Blood donation is the greatest act of kindness, and I am proud of our NSS volunteers for stepping forward to make a difference. Such initiatives reflect the values we instill at GJIMT—compassion, responsibility, and service to society.
