8th Edition of Playwrite Litfest opens at CII on Sunday

Chandigarh, Feb.28, 2025:- The eighth edition of the sports literary festival, PlayWrite, opens here on Sunday, 2nd March at CII.

Noted sports personalities including Olympian hockey player Col. Balbir Singh, first Indian chess player holding the Grandmaster title Pravin Mahadeo Thipsay, women sports achievers, and the famous sports broadcasters shall be interacting with the sports enthusiasts in seven power-packed sessions.

Playwrite highlights would be the presence of two world famous sports journalists and broadcasters, namely Dr. Narottam Puri, and Padam Shri Ravi Chaturvedi, who reported from the fields numerous exciting sporting moments for the listeners and viewers across the globe.

Hockey Olympian Col Balbir Singh will share the legacy of village Sansarpur, where he was born, to the Indian hockey which has produced 14 Olympians.

The first Indian to hold the FIDE title of chess Grandmaster Pravin Mahadeo Thipsay along with Arvinder Preet Singh, World Amateur Chess Champion, and a chess coach, would talk about the young Indians chess players making a mark in the world arena.

The session on evolution of Women's Sport in India shall feature young city athlete Shireen Ahluwalia, Pickleball player Gurleen Singh, cricket player Pragya Rawat

Manjusha Kanwar is a ten-time National badminton champion with a team bronze medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, shall be in conversation with reputed sports writer, consulting editor for Sportstar and author of Virat Kohli's biography, Vijay Lokapally, along with his sportswriter son Akshay.

Nandan Kamath, founder of GoSports Foundation, sports lawyer and Sports Communication Professional; G Rajaraman who had also been the Media Attache of Indian Team in Paris 2024 Olympics, shall explore the way forward for the Indian sports in a session on intersection on sports and storytelling.

Fuel Conservation Initiative SAKSHAM 2025 Concludes

Chandigarh, February 28, 2025:- The SAKSHAM 2025 (Sanrakshan Kshamata Mahotsav), a fortnight-long initiative by Oil Industries of Punjab and Chandigarh U.T. to promote fuel conservation, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability, concluded with a successful valedictory event. The event, held at the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, was attended by dignitaries, students, industry leaders, and environmental advocates.

The Chief Guest, Ashutosh Gupta, State Level Coordinator for Oil Industry Punjab and Executive Director & State Head (Punjab, J&K, HP & Chandigarh), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd(IOCL). led the audience in taking the Conservation Pledge. The program also witnessed a play staged by a theatre group on oil and gas conservation, reinforcing the importance of sustainable energy practices.

Speaking at the valedictory event, Ashutosh Gupta, emphasized the need to continue the momentum of the campaign beyond the two-week period. He stated that SAKSHAM 2025 is not just a campaign—it's a daily commitment to energy conservation. Every small effort contributes to a larger impact on our environment, economy, and national energy security. There is an urgent need for sustainable energy conservation.

Wall Painting and Graffiti Competitions focusing on conservation themes, LPG Panchayats and other grassroots awareness programmes were also held. SAKSHAM Cyclothon and Walkathon too were organised to promote fitness and energy conservation.

Activities like SAKSHAM assume significance because as India is one of the fastest-growing economies, it faces the dual challenge of meeting rising energy demands while ensuring sustainability. ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਜ਼ੋਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਾਵਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਿਲਾਵਟਖੋਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੌਲਤ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਮਿਲਾਵਟ ਦੀ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਆਮ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਰਕ ਭੋਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਜਟ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਕਈ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਉਤੇ ਖਰਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਜਨਤਕ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਬਲਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਾਵਟ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਟਖੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਲੈਬਾਰਟਰੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰਤਾ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਲੈਬਾਰਟਰੀਆਂ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਪਲਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਾਵਟਖੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਫਾਸਟ ਟਰੈਕ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਮਿਲਾਵਟ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

PGGCollege, Sector 11, organises" One day National Workshop on Research Methodology in Science"

The workshop was sponsored by Department of Science and Technology and Renewable Energy, Chandigarh Administration. Principle of the College Prof (Dr) Rama Arora inaugurated the workshop and Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Coordinator of the event, introduced the distinguished speakers. 

First speaker Prof. Jayanti Dutta, UGC-HRDC, PU, Chandigarh delivered a very thought provoking talk on how to practice thinking for the betterment of self and society. Second speaker prof. Kashmir Singh from department of Biotechnology, PU, Chandigarh, talked about the role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the developing the economy. Around 200 students were benefited by the workshop.

56वां मूर्ति स्थापना समारोह पूर्णाहुति के उपरांत संपन्न कथा व्यास ने भक्ति रस सुनाकर श्रद्धालुओं को किया भाव विभोर

Chandigarh, Feb.28, 2025:-- सेक्टर 23 डी स्थित श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा (साधु आश्रम) में पूज्यपाद ब्रह्मलीन श्री सतगुरु देव श्रीश्री 108 श्री मुनि गौरवा नंद गिरि जी महाराज की प्ररेणा से परम्परानुसार 56वें वार्षिक मूर्ति स्थापना समारोह संपन्न हो गया। 

समारोह के अंतिम दिन विधि विधान के साथ भगवान का पूजन-अर्चना व हवन किया गया और पूर्णाहुति के पश्चात समारोह को सम्पन्न किया गया। इस दौरान प्रधान दिलीप चंद गुप्ता, सांस्कृतिक सचिव पं. दीप भारद्वाज, उप प्रधान ओपी पाहवा, महासचिव एस आर कश्यप, कोषाध्यक्ष सुरेंद्र गुप्ता, कार्यालय सचिव नंदलाल शर्मा, ऑडिटर नरेश महाजन, अन्य सदस्यगण पंडित अरविंद शर्मा, पंडित चमनलाल व श्रद्धालु उपस्थित थे।

समारोह में आयोजित श्रीमद्भागवत कथा में कथा व्यास श्री हरिजी महाराज ने श्रद्धालुओं को बताया कि भगवान को प्राप्त करने के लिए भक्ति मार्ग को शास्त्रों में सर्वोत्तम मार्ग माना गया है। भक्ति के प्रभाव से ही जीव भगवान को पाने में समर्थ होता है। 

कथा व्यास ने श्रद्धालुओं को श्रीकृष्ण सुदामा जी का संवाद का श्रवण कराते हुए बताया कि श्री कृष्ण और सुदामा जी की मित्रता उज्जैन में गुरु सांदीपनि ऋषि के आश्रम में हुई थी। सुदामा जी ने कभी भी भगवान से कुछ नहीं मांगा वह चाहते तो सब कुछ मांग सकते थे। भगवान उनके समीप थे परंतु फिर भी उन्होंने भगवान की विश्वास भाव से भक्ति की और अपना पूरा जीवन श्री कृष्ण भक्ति में लगा दिया। सच्ची मित्रता ही निस्वार्थ का मूल्य है। सच्ची मित्रता विनम्रता है। सुदामा कुछ मांगने नहीं बल्कि अपने प्रिय मित्र से भाव से जुड़ने गए थे निस्वार्थ भाव व प्रेम ही सच्ची मित्रता है।

इस अवसर पर सभा के प्रधान दलीप चंद गुप्ता ने इस आयोजन के सफल बनाने में सभा के सभी सदस्यों व श्रद्धालुओं का आभार जताया और कहा कि प्रति वर्ष यह आयोजन किया जाता है और भविष्य में भी हर्षोल्लास के साथ किया जाएगा।

Narayan Sewa Sansthan to organize Free Limb Measurement Camp for differently-abled on March 2

Chandigarh, February 28, 2025:– National Award recipient from President of India and Udaipur based Narayan Sewa Sansthan will host a free Narayan Limb Measurement Camp in Chandigarh on March 2, 2025. The camp will be held from 8 am to 5 pm at the Community Center, Sector 49-C, Chandigarh. This initiative aims to support differently-abled individuals who have lost limbs due to accidents or illnesses by offering them free prosthetic limb measurements.

The event is organized under the "Kuan Pyaase Ke Paas" scheme and is set to benefit over 400 registered participants. While addressing a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club, Bhagwan Prasad Gaur, Director, Media & Public Relations  of the institute highlighted that the camp is part of Narayan Seva Sansthan's 40-year commitment to providing holistic support to the differently-abled community. With the guidance of Padma Shri-awarded founder Kailash Manav, the institute continues its mission of humanitarian service in the field of disability. The institute appeals to those interested to bring their Aadhar card, disability certificate, and two photographs to avail of the services. Honda Cars India crosses 1 lakh Cumulative Sales Milestone of the Bold & Stylish Honda Elevate

(HCIL), a leading premium car manufacturer in India, has crossed 1 lakh cumulative sales milestone of its global SUV model Honda Elevate owing to its success both in the domestic as well as international market. The Elevate is exclusively made in India currently at HCIL's manufacturing plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan. The company has cumulatively sold 53,326 units of the Elevate in India and exported 47,653 units to countries including Japan, South Africa, Nepal & Bhutan till January'25. 

 

The Elevate was first launched in India in Sept'23 and quickly became a strong business pillar for HCIL. The new offering successfully established itself in the competitive domestic SUV market sweeping away over 20 prestigious automobile industry awards including laurels such as Car of the Year, Viewer's Choice Car of the Year, SUV of the Year etc. from leading media houses. Mamta, a female visitor from Bihar, said that she was fascinated to learn that these changing rooms were made from recycled plastic. Seeing waste transformed into something so useful made me realize the importance of waste segregation.

सुबह 9:00 बजे से विशाल भंडारा वितरित किया गया,  जिसमें लगभग 3000 लोगों ने  भंडारे का प्रेम पूर्वक सेवन किया।

करनैल सिंह और पार्टी ने भगवान् भोले शंकर का बहुत सुंदर दरबार सजाया तथा महादेव के  भजनों से भक्तों का मन मोह लिया।  भगवान भोले शंकर और माता पार्वती की बहुत सुंदर झांकी दिखाई गई ।  संजय टंडन ने भी भगवान शंकर का जलाभिषेक किया तथा कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की।

मंदिर के प्रधान अरुणेश अग्रवाल ने बताया कि महाशिवरात्रि महोत्सव के उपलक्ष में मंदिर को बहुत सुंदर तरीके से फूलों तथा लाइटों से सजाया गया। रात को चार पैहर की पूजा की गई जिसमें भगवान शंकर का रुद्राभिषेक किया गया । पहले पहर की पूजा सायं 7.15 बजे, दूसरे पहर की पूजा रात्रि 10.15 बजे, तीसरे पहर की पूजा रात्रि 1.15 बजे तथा चौथे पहर की पूजा सुबह 4.15 बजे की गई।

भगवान भोले शंकर के रुद्राभिषेक के पश्चात सभी भक्तों को प्रसाद विस्तृत किया गया। सारी रात बहुत बड़ी मात्रा में भक्तों ने रुद्राभिषेक में भाग लिया। 

 मन्दिर के चेयरमैन ईश्वर चंद बंसल, मुख्य सचिव रजनीश सिंगला, कोषाध्यक्ष राकेश गुप्ता, राहुल बंसल सचिव, राम मूर्ति बंसल महिला प्रधान, पायल गुप्ता उपप्रधान,  सुनीता शारदा उपप्रधान तथा अर्चना अग्रवाल ने भक्तों को जलाभिषेक करने में सहयोग दिया।

Chandigarh, Feb.26, 2025:-महाशिवरात्रि पर को लेकर सिटी ब्यूटीफुल चंडीगढ़ में शिव भक्तों में खासा उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है । इस मौके पर शहर के तमाम मंदिरों में सुबह से ही शिवलिंग पर जल अभिषेक करने के लिए प्रभु भक्तों की भीड़ लगनी शुरू हो गई थी और यही सिलसिला देर शाम तक जारी रहा। सेक्टर 46 स्थित श्री सनातन धर्म मंदिर में भी महाशिवरात्रि को लेकर पूजा अर्चना के लिए विशेष इंतजाम किए गए थे। इस मौके पर मंदिर परिसर में मंदिर सभा की ओर से दूध पकोड़े और फल का प्रसाद बांटा गया। मंदिर सभा के अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र भाटिया ने सभी भक्तों को महाशिवरात्रि की शुभकामनाएं दी और विश्व शांति और लोगों के स्वास्थ्य के लिए भगवान शिव के आगे पूजा अर्चना की। मंदिर में आए प्रभु भक्तों ने शिव भोले के जयकारों के बीच जल  अभिषेक किया। उन्होंने आगे बताया कि मंदिर में सुबह 7:00 बजे ध्वजारोहण के बाद भगवान भोले शंकर की आरती, रुद्राभिषेक कर  9:00 बजे हवन यज्ञ किया गया।  दोपहर 3:00 से 5:00 तक सभा की महिला मंडली की ओर से कीर्तन किया गया और शाम 6 बजे सामूहिक आरती की गई इसके प्रांत रात को चार पहर की  पूजा की गई।

भण्डारे में, फिंगर चिप्स, लच्छा चिप्स, दही आलू, फैंसी लच्छा चिप्स, फली दाना, फलाहार साबुतदाना, साबू दाना केसर खीर, साबूदाना केसर खीर, आलू हलवा, आलू शाही टुकड़ा, आलू ज़ीरा फ्राई, फ्रूट चटनी, दही पुदीना चटनी, आलू टमाटर चटनी, भांग के पकोड़े, फ्रूट क्रीम, फ्रूट चाट, भांग दूध, अदरक टमाटर चटनी, साबूदाना आलू टिक्की, स्वांग चावल खीर,साबूदाना खिचडी और चाय काफी इत्यादि व्यंजन विशेष रहे।

Chandigarh, Feb.26, 2025:--चंडीगढ़ के मंदिरों व शिवालयों में बुधवार को महाशिवरात्रि की धूम रही। शिवालयों में बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु जलाभिषेक करने के लिए लम्बी-लम्बी कतारों में देखे गए। सुबह से ही राजधानी के कई मंदिरों में लोग सुबह से ही शिवालयों के बाहर नजर आए। मंदिरों में हर हर महादेव के उद्घोष सुनायी दिए। तड़के सुबह से ही सेक्टर 28 स्थित प्राचीन श्री खेड़ा शिव मंदिर में शिवलिंग पर जलाभिषेक करने के लिये श्रद्धालु शिव भक्तों की लम्बी कतार देखी गई। श्रद्धालुओं ने मंदिर में पहुंचकर शिवलिंग पर जलाभिषेक करके पूजा-अर्चना की। 

इस दौरान भक्त देवाधिदेव महादेव के दर्शन करने के लिए लाइन में लगे दिखे और हर-हर महादेव के जयकारों से माहौल शिवमय हो गया। देवाधिदेव महादेव की उपासना के पावन पर्व महाशिवरात्रि पर  शिव मंदिरों में बच्चे, नौजवाव सहित हर उम्र के लोग जलाभिषेक के लिए लंबी लाइन में लगे रहे, साथ ही साथ कई जगहों पर भंडारे का भी आयोजन किया गया। 

मंदिर के पुजारी पंडित सुभाष शर्मा ने जानकारी दी कि आज महाशिवरात्रि के पावन पर्व 26 फ़रवरी को तड़के साढ़े 4 बजे सर्वप्रथम शालिग्राम पूजा की गई। तत्पश्चात मंदिर कमिटी के अध्यक्ष देसराज बंसल सुबह 5 बजे रूद्र अभिषेक किया। इस अवसर पर 1100 बेल पत्रों को शिवलिंग पर अर्पित किए गए और इसके बाद दूध व फलों का भोग लगाया गया व सारा दिन दूध व फलों का अटूट भंडारा बरताया शिव भक्तों में बांटा गया। इस दौरान अगले दिन 27 फ़रवरी को सुबह 5 बजे तक चार पहर की पूजा की जाएगी। 

मंदिर के पुजारी ईश्वर चंदर शास्त्री ने बताया कि महाशिवरात्रि का पर्व 26 फरवरी को हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया जाएगा। हिंदू धर्म में महाशिवरात्रि का बेहद खास महत्व होता है। इस दिन सभी शिवालय में भक्तों की भीड़ उमड़ती है। हर-हर महादेव, बोल बम के नारे गूंजते हैं। माना जाता है कि महाशिवरात्रि पर जो भक्त व्रत रखकर भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती की विधि-विधान के साथ पूजा करता है, उसकी मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती हैं। जीवन में कष्ट, दुख, रोग सभी समस्या समाप्त होती है। वैसे तो महाशिवरात्रि बेहद खास है, लेकिन इस बार 60 साल के बाद महाशिवरात्रि पर दुर्लभ संयोग बन रहा है।

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि महाशिवरात्रि के दिन भगवान भोलेनाथ पृथ्वी पर मौजूद सभी शिवलिंग में विराजमान होते हैं, इसलिए महाशिवरात्रि के दिन की गई शिव की उपासना से कई गुना अधिक फल प्राप्त होता है। इस दिन भगवान भोलेनाथ के शिवलिंग की पूजा की प्रधानता है। वहीं इस बार 60 साल के बाद बेहद दुर्लभ संयोग बनने जा रहा है। महाशिवरात्रि के दिन धनिष्ठा नक्षत्र, परिघ योग, शकुनि कारण और चंद्रमा मकर राशि पर रहने वाले हैं। यह संयोग बेहद शुभ माना जाता है।

Chandigarh, Feb.26,2025:-फुटबॉल प्रेमियों के लिए यह खबर बेहद जानकारीपूर्ण और उत्साहजनक है। पिछले एक दशक से फुटबॉल के लिए व्यापक योजनाएं बना रहा जेनरेशन अमेजिंग फाउंडेशन अपने तकनीकी विशेषज्ञ कोचों और बेहतरीन फुटबॉल खिलाड़ियों के सहयोग से अब फुटबॉल प्रेमियों को विशेष प्रशिक्षण देकर राष्ट्रीय स्तर का खिलाड़ी बनाने में मदद करेगा। आज चंडीगढ़ में वाईएफसी रुड़का कलां और जेनरेशन अमेजिंग द्वारा जेनरेशन अमेजिंग कम्युनिटी क्लब की बहुउद्देशीय खेल सुविधा के लिए आपसी समझौता किया गया, जिसमें लोकसभा सदस्य मालविंदर सिंह कंग की उपस्थिति में जीए फाउंडेशन के कार्यकारी निदेशक जसीम अल अली व् यूथ फुटबॉल क्लब (वाईएफसी) रुड़का कलां के अध्यक्ष गुरमंगल दास ने इस एमओयू (आपसी समझौता) पर हस्ताक्षर किए।

इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए फाउंडेशन के कार्यकारी निदेशक जसीम अल अली ने बताया कि यूथ फुटबॉल क्लब (वाईएफसी) रुड़का कलां के सहयोग से फाउंडेशन 2017 से इस क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहा है। उन्होंने बताया कि रुड़का कलां में एक बहुउद्देशीय खेल सुविधा प्रदान की गई है, जहां हर साल लगभग 10 हजार फुटबॉल प्रेमियों को उत्कृष्ट माहौल में खेल तकनीकों की जानकारी दी जाएगी।

उन्होंने बताया कि उनके पास फुटबॉल पिच के साथ-साथ बास्केटबॉल, टेनिस, वॉलीबॉल और पिकलबॉल के लिए अलग-अलग सिंथेटिक कोर्ट और बहुउद्देशीय हॉल भी उपलब्ध हैं। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि 50 स्टेशनों वाला जिम भी उनके द्वारा बनाया गया है। इसके अलावा, 200 सीटों वाला बहुउद्देशीय हॉल भी निर्मित किया गया है, जहां प्रशिक्षण सहित अन्य गतिविधियां करवाई जाती हैं।

फीफा वर्ल्ड कप 2022 को प्रायोजित करने वाले जेनरेशन अमेजिंग फाउंडेशन के अलावा प्रवासी पंजाबियों के सहयोग से करोड़ों रुपये की लागत से बने इस परियोजना में बच्चों और युवाओं को मुफ्त प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा।

इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में वाईएफसी रुड़का कलां के संस्थापक और सीईओ गुरमंगल दास ने कहा कि इस परियोजना की शुरुआत उनके लिए बड़े गर्व की बात है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सिर्फ एक स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स नहीं है, बल्कि पंजाब के हजारों युवाओं की नई उम्मीदें हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि यहां युवा और बच्चे न केवल एथलेटिक्स से जुड़ी जानकारी प्राप्त करेंगे, बल्कि उन्हें सामाजिक सरोकारों और नशे के खिलाफ लड़ने की समझ भी मिलेगी।

भाजपा और प्रशासन मिलीभगत कर संपत्ति कर बढ़ाने को तैयार: कांग्रेस

Chandigarh, Feb.26, 2025:-चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस ने संपत्ति कर में भारी वृद्धि  की  गुपचुप तयारी पर कड़ी चिंता व्यक्त की है, जो कथित तौर पर चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन और भाजपा नेतृत्व की गुप्त मिलीभगत से रची गई है।

चंडीगढ़ प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष एच एस लक्की ने कहा कि भाजपा ने शुरू में नगर निगम सदन की बैठक में संपत्ति कर की दरों में मौजूदा 3% से 12% तक की अत्यधिक वृद्धि का प्रस्ताव रखा था, हालांकि, बाद में कांग्रेस और अन्य विपक्षी पार्षदों के कड़े विरोध के बाद इस प्रस्ताव को वापस ले लिया गया।

लक्की ने आगे भाजपा पर सीवरेज उपकर बढ़ाने के अपने प्रयास में इसी तरह की रणनीति अपनाने का आरोप लगाया, जिसे विपक्षी पार्षदों की सतर्कता और संख्यात्मक ताकत के कारण विफल कर दिया गया। उन्होंने महापौर के चुनाव के बाद नकदी की कमी से जूझ रहे नगर निगम के लिए अतिरिक्त धन जुटाने के अपने वादे को पूरा करने में विफल रहने के लिए भाजपा की आलोचना की और कहा कि भाजपा ने कहा था एक बार हमारा मेयर बन गया तो हम पैसे की कमी नहीं रहने देंगे। केंद्र सरकार से वित्तीय सहायता मांगने के बजाय - जहां भाजपा सत्ता में है - या चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन से, पार्टी चंडीगढ़ के निवासियों पर अनुचित वित्तीय बोझ डालने का प्रयास कर रही है।

कांग्रेस पार्टी ऐसे किसी भी कदम का दृढ़ता से विरोध करती है और भाजपा के छिपे हुए एजेंडे को उजागर करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। लकी ने जोर देकर कहा कि चंडीगढ़ के लोग इन भ्रामक चालों से अच्छी तरह वाकिफ हैं और गुमराह नहीं होंगे। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि इस तरह की कोई भी कार्रवाई उल्टी पड़ेगी, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप दिसंबर 2026 में होने वाले आगामी नगर निगम चुनावों में भाजपा के लिए गंभीर चुनावी नतीजे होंगे।

इसके अलावा, कांग्रेस ने चंडीगढ़ के निवासियों के कल्याण के लिए अपने समर्पण की पुष्टि की। पार्टी ने तीसरे और चौथे दिल्ली वित्त आयोग की रिपोर्ट की सिफारिशों के अनुसार चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन से नगर निगम का उचित वित्तीय हिस्सा सुरक्षित करने के लिए अगर  नव निर्वाचित महापौर प्रयास करती है तो कांग्रेस पार्टी इसका समर्थन करेगी । हालांकि, यह जनता पर नए कर लगाने के किसी भी प्रयास का कड़ा विरोध करेगी।

लक्की ने यह भी याद किया कि कैसे चंडीगढ़ कांग्रेस ने बिजली विभाग के निजीकरण का पुरजोर विरोध किया था - यह कदम आखिरकार चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन ने लागू किया और भाजपा मूकदर्शक बनी रही। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि इस निजीकरण के परिणाम जल्द ही निवासियों को महसूस होंगे, क्योंकि बिजली की बढ़ती लागत उन्हें भारी वित्तीय बोझ उठाने के लिए मजबूर करेगी।

Panchkula, Feb.25, 2025:-हंसराज क्रिकेट अकादमी, पंचकूला ने एमएम क्रिकेट अकादमी, अंबाला को 5 विकेट से हराकर 5वें स्वर्गीय पन्ना लाल मेमोरियल अंडर-19 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट में अपना लीग मैच जीत लिया। संयोजक अमरजीत कुमार के अनुसार यह टूर्नामेंट पंचकूला और डेराबस्सी क्रिकेट मैदानों पर खेला जा रहा है एनएसएस ट्रॉफी के लिए चल रहे अंडर-19 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट में कुल 10 टीमें भाग ले रही हैं हंसराज क्रिकेट अकादमी, पंचकूला के शिवम नागरथ ( 82 रन) को मैन ऑफ द मैच घोषित किया गया  आज खेले गए 5वें स्वर्गीय पन्ना लाल मेमोरियल अंडर-19 क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट में पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए एमएम क्रिकेट अकादमी, अंबाला ने 40 ओवर में 230 रन बनाए। हृदय शर्मा ने सर्वाधिक 48 रन बनाए, अरहान सिंह ने 39 रन, दीपांशु ने 26 रन बनाए जबकि अर्पित वर्मा ने 24 रन बनाए। गेंदबाजी करते हुए हंसराज क्रिकेट अकादमी, पंचकूला के गेंदबाजों आरव द सेतिया, अनिकेत राणा और हार्दिक मोंगा ने 2-2 विकेट लिए जबकि निलय पवार और श्रेष्ठ दुग्गल दोनों ने 1-1 विकेट लिया।

The session was conducted by Dr. Vibha Goel, MBBS, MD, a renowned Consultant Psychiatrist from Ivy Hospital, who specializes in adolescent mental health and stress management.

During the session, Dr. Goel provided expert insights into identifying mental health challenges, managing anxiety, and adopting a positive mindset in everyday life. She emphasized the importance of self-care, emotional resilience, and seeking help when needed. Special focus was given to 10th-grade students, who are currently preparing for their CBSE board exams. Understanding that exam stress can impact performance and overall well-being, Dr. Goel shared scientifically proven techniques such as Mindfulness and meditation exercises to stay focused and reduce anxiety. Dr. Goel stressed for effective time management strategies to enhance productivity. He further said that healthy lifestyle habits, including proper sleep, diet, and exercise, to support mental clarity.

The session was highly engaging, with students actively participating in discussions, asking questions, and sharing their concerns. Dr. Goel encouraged them to maintain a balanced approach to studies, engage in relaxation activities, and communicate openly with teachers and parents about their stress levels.

Speaking about the importance of mental health, the President Manav Singla highlighted that such workshops are a crucial part of their holistic education approach. Chandigarh, Feb.25, 2025:-सेक्टर 23 डी स्थित श्री महावीर मंदिर मुनि सभा (साधु आश्रम) में 56वें वार्षिक मूर्ति स्थापना समारोह के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित श्रीमद्भागवत कथा के चौथे दिन कथा व्यास आचार्य श्री हरिजी महाराज ने श्रद्धालुओं को आनंदमय कथाओं का श्रवण करवाया। 

इस अवसर पर भगवान श्री कृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव बड़े श्रद्धा भाव से मनाया गया। श्रद्धालुओं ने एक-दूसरे को भगवान श्री कृष्ण के जन्म पर बधाई दी और मंदिर परिसर में जयकारों से वातावरण गूंज उठा। श्रद्धालुओं ने खुशी में नृत्य, कीर्तन और भक्ति में लीन होकर उत्सव का आनंद लिया।

कथा व्यास ने श्रद्धालुओं को बताया कि भगवान का अवतार समय-समय पर विभिन्न कारणों से इस संसार में होता है। आचार्य श्री ने ध्रुव चरित्र का वर्णन किया और बताया कि किस प्रकार पतिव्रता सुनीति के पुत्र ध्रुव ने तप और भक्ति के माध्यम से वह परम पद प्राप्त किया, जिसे भगवद धर्म और वेद-विद्वान लोग भी आसानी से प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते। 

आचार्य श्री ने आगे कहा कि ध्रुव जी, केवल पांच वर्ष की आयु में अपनी विमाता के द्वारा कहे गए कठोर शब्दों से आहत होकर वन में गए और भगवान की भक्ति द्वारा उनके हृदय को जीत लिया। 

उन्होंने श्रद्धालुओं को यह भी उपदेश दिया कि ऐसे स्थान, जहां हरि कथा का अमृत रूपी प्रवाह न हो, जहां भगवद भक्त साधु न रहते हों, और जहां नृत्य और उत्सव से भगवान की पूजा न होती हो, वह स्थान भले ही ब्रह्मलोक के समान हो, उसकी सेवा नहीं करनी चाहिए। 

इस आयोजन ने न केवल श्रद्धालुओं को श्री कृष्ण के जन्म की दिव्य उपस्थिति का अहसास कराया, बल्कि उन्हें भक्ति और तपस्या के महत्व का भी गहरा ज्ञान प्रदान किया।
