Lawrance Public School organizes the Annual Sports Day

Chandigarh, Dec.07, 2024;--Lawrance Public School, Sector 51 organized its  two days annual sporting event with colourful pomp and show at Sector 46, stadium Chandigarh. The Chief guest on first day was  Shree Shiv Singh, Dronacharya awardee and on second was Advocate Ankur Sharma a former International Sportsperson in Asian Basketball and the Asian gold medalist in Asian Netball Championship.

The students showcased their sporting talents in various track and field events including sprints, relays, long jump, shot put, Javelin throw, tug of war and many more. The highlight of the event was the mesmerizing Zumba ,Dupatta  and Flower drill .The sports meet concluded with a high energy Hangar performance and prize distribution ceremony .  While speaking at the moment principal Veena Malhotra said that such events promote  sportsmanship,  teamwork and healthy competition among the students.
