Students of Delhi World Public School proved their excellent sportsmanship by winning many medals in the 5th Defence Cup Inter-Club Taekwondo Championship held in Panchkula. Shanaya, Vivan Singh of class 5, Akshay Ujha of class 6 and Khushi of class 9 won gold medals by securing first positions. While Priyal of class 2, Niyan of class 5, Amogh Sharma and Aaradhya of class 5 displayed their excellent sportsmanship and won silver medals.
While in lawn tennis, Mannat, a student of class X, won a silver medal in the state-level under-17 lawn tennis tournament held in Ludhiana. School Principal Dr. Manisha Sahni said that playing against the best players of the state, Mannat achieved success with her passion, hard work and passion for the game. Her achievement is the result of the supportive environment and coaching provided by the school. Her excellent performance in the face of strong competition reflects her hard work, excellent results and the highly certified philosophy of Delhi World Public School.
