Chandigarh, Sept.15, 2021:- The UT Administration Chandigarh had taken up with the Government of India about the targeted population for COVID-19 vaccination in UT Chandigarh. Now the Ministry of Health & family Welfare Government of India has finalised the targeted population of UT Chandigarh in the age group of 18 years and above as 8,43,000.
Dharam Pal, Adviser to the Administrator UT informed that now even with the revised data of targeted population, the UT Chandigarh is among the selected States/UTs who above gave at least one dose of COVID vaccination to the 100% targeted population.
Dharam Pal, Adviser has congratulated all the Doctors, Nurses and Health Care Workers in UT Chandigarh for administering the first dose of COVID vaccines to 100% targeted population. He further stated that the UT Administration will continue with its sincere efforts to deal with all the COVID related issues.
