In the camp, the team of Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Center Sector 37 Chandigarh collected blood under the supervision of Dr. Manish Rai. Along with this, Vijay Sudan from Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Center Sector 37, Chandigarh presented the award to P. Guna for organizing blood donation camp. He said that blood donation is great donation and there is no substitute for blood nor can it be made artificially. In the past, there were many misconceptions like blood donation, weakness in the body and disease, but today these misconceptions have been dispelled and our youth are donating blood in large numbers.

It is a matter of happiness that today our daughters are also not lagging behind boys in the matter of donating blood and themselves are coming forward and donating blood. Rather, everyone must donate blood once in 90 days or three months. It helps the needy as well as keeps the body healthy. A virtuous act like donating blood comes in the greatest service. Timely availability of blood can save a priceless life. If we can save someone's life through blood donation, then there can be no greater favor than this.

All the blood donors who came to the blood donation camp were encouraged by giving appreciation certificates, masks, soaps, sanitizers and gifts. In this occasion Rakesh Kumari, Avinash Sharma, Virender Gandhi, Saakaar Vishvas, Shatrughan Kumar, Neeraj Yadav, Vishal Kunwar and other dignitaries were also present.
