Venus Remedies Announces Covid Protection Policy to Rebuild Lives of Affected Employees and Their Families

Chandigarh July 12, 2021:- At a time when several people are losing lives and livelihood to Covid-19, Venus Remedies Pvt Ltd, a leading research-oriented pharmaceutical company based in Panchkula, has stepped up efforts to offer unflinching support to its employees in these tough times.

Venus Remedies has rolled out a Covid protection policy for its employees and their immediate family members, under which it will pay an amount equivalent to one month of gross salary for the next 12 months to the nominated dependants of permanent employees in case of their untimely demise due to Covid-19.

Over and above this, the company will also offer regular employment to their next eligible kin, spouse or children, as per their qualification and experience, based on the organisation's standard employment rules.

The support extended to the dependant family members of deceased employees is in addition to the existing employee benefits.

In case of death of an immediate family member, which may include parents, spouse or children, due to COVID-19, Venus Remedies will pay an amount equivalent to one month of basic salary for the next 12 months to the affected employee.

The policy comes into force with effect from July 1 and will be valid up to June 30 next year.
