Chandigarh July 30, 2021:- Vasudha, the Environment Society of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector-26, Chandigarh, celebrated Van Mahotsav by organising a Tree Plantation Drive of herbal and medicinal plants in the Herbal Garden of the College on July 30 , 2021.
On the occasion, the students of the College planted around 60 saplings sponsored by the Environment Department, Chandigarh Administration.
The Principal emphasized the benefits and significance of commonly available and frequently used herbal plants especially during the pandemic.
