Chandigarh May 15, 2021:-Desh Bhagat University celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr with medical students & staff of DBU, all students and faculty members prayed to Allah for guidance and betterment of mankind. Chancellor of the University Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur wished all good health and prosperity.
Dr. Zora Singh mentioned the historic importance of the Eid-Ul-Fitr also known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", further he said that there is a lot of things we have to learn from Prophet Muhammad's life and teachings.
On this occasion, Dr. Sanjiv Soni and Dr. Zora Singh Joined students for the iftaar party. Students celebrated the festival with proper guidelines of COVID and performed prayers in their respected places.
